President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Council of the Republic at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich, who arrived in the capital of Turkmenistan.
The talks focused on the progress in implementing the ambitious infrastructure project – the Garlyk ore-dressing and processing enterprise that will produce potash fertilizers, located in Koitendag Etrap in Lebap Velayat.
The Turkmen leader and his guest called for the enhancement of existing fruitful bilateral contacts in the spheres of education, science and culture.
The President of Turkmenistan and the Chairman of the Council of the Republic at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus also called for the promotion of bilateral inter-parliamentary relations.
Taking the opportunity, the Turkmen leader renewed the invitation to the Belarusian side to take part in the anniversary celebrations, which will be held in Ashgabat in December.
