The head of state noted that development of transport infrastructure of Ashgabat has to correspond with the status of main city of the country, its increasing international role as well as honorable and responsible mission to become the sport capital of Asia in 2017. It concerns all trends of accomplishment of the city, creation in it of park zones, aesthetic and comfortable environment. In this context, the nation leader gave instructions to Deputy Prime Minister Sh. Durdyliyev and governor of the city. Leadership of MIA also got the tasks on maintenance of safe traffic, organization of events and campaign on prevention of traffic accidents, improvement of driver culture.
At the same time, the head of state indicated a series of issues demanding more accurate plan and more energetic actions, particularly in the field of preparation of the capital for upcoming large solemnities of international level in honor of the 20th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s neutrality, as well as for Asian Games of 2017. In this connection, it was given concrete instructions to the officials of different departments, including spheres of education, public health, power engineering, trade, motor transport, tourism, sports, communications, food industry and nature protection.
