On the instructions of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the Chairman of Turkmenistan Parliament A.Nurberdyeva has accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Turkmenistan Mr. Fam Suan Sona.

During conversation the visitor has been informed in detail with the basic directions and priorities of internal political course and foreign policy of Turkmenistan, social and economic transformations being carried out in the country under the initiative and direction of the leader of the nation, as well as large-scale projects, including transnational ones with overall objective - well-being of Turkmenistan residents and all nations of the region.

The ambassador of Vietnam has also been acquainted with structure and legislative activity of Turkmen parliament, the practice of establishment of international contacts.

Trade and economic, fuel and energy, cultural-humanitarian spheres, as well as tourism and sports have been named among priority directions of cooperation.

Today the Vietnamese diplomat has been accepted at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.
