President of Turkmenistan held a videoconference meeting with the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of sectoral ministries and departments. The preparations for the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan to sum up the results of work done in 2015, the important tasks on Turkmenistan’s development in 2016 as well as the other important issues were discussed at the meeting.
The meeting participants presented the information on the current situation in the spheres under their supervision and the measures to be taken to fulfill the tasks set for 2016 that was declared the Year of Reverence of Heritage and Reforms in the Motherland and achieve the goals of the programme on the social and economic development of the country.
The information on the measures taken to strengthen the legislative basis of all spheres of life of the state and society and to draft the regulatory acts aimed at ensuring the sustainable development of the national economy was presented.
The measures to be taken to improve the living standards, speed up the industrial development of the country and implement new construction projects as well as enhance the export potential of the national economy were considered at the meeting.
The measures on the most efficient implementation of the state programmes of the social and economic development of the country were specified in the annual working plans.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that Turkmenistan that strengthened the world authority as a reliable partner was taking constructive steps to further build up international cooperation.
New approaches to improving the work of the industries, using the advanced technologies, developing interstate cooperation and implementing joint ambitious projects were discussed in the framework of the preparations for the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers scheduled for January 8.
The President of Turkmenistan focused on the importance of the well-coordinated work of all structures to achieve the high levels of the modern time, the regular control over the quality of construction works in the country and adherence to construction schedule, the consistent strengthening of the material and technical base of all segments of the economy and the training of highly qualified specialists.
It was emphasized that the measures taken were aimed at bringing our country to the new heights of political, economic and cultural development and improving the social and living conditions of citizens that is the main goal of the on-going ambitious reforms in all economic sectors of the country.
