President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working videoconference meeting with the hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat.
The issues related to the implementation of tasks set during the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the agenda of which focused on the work done in 2015 and the priority areas of the state life were discussed.
The reports on the progress of the agricultural campaigns in the regions were presented. It was also reported on the progress of construction works and the preparations for the architectural premiers scheduled for the State Flag Day and the measures taken to beautify the main city of the country.
Emphasizing the importance of efficient work in all spheres of the national economy of the country, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined the need to take all necessary measures in this regard. The Turkmen leader instructed the relevant officials to specify the complex of works for enterprises in the agro-industrial complex on site and ensure their implementation in compliance with the reorganization of the system of managing the agro-industrial complex.
