President of Turkmenistan held a working videoconference meeting

The agenda of the working videoconference meeting focused on the issues of social and economic development of the regions, the progress of seasonal agricultural activities and the programme of the festive events for March were discussed during the meeting.

The President gave the floor to Ahal Velayat Hyakim A. Yazmyradov, who reported on the current situation in the regionю Particular attention was paid to the crop-growing sector and the measures taken to prepare fields for cotton sowing.

Underlining the importance of creating all necessary conditions for agricultural workers and machine operators, the Turkmen leader gave a number of instruction to the Ahal Velayat Hyakim regarding the timely and proper organization of this important agricultural campaign.

Then the floor was given to Balkan Velayat Hyakim D. Durdyev, who reported on the progress of agricultural activities and the measures taken to prepare agricultural equipment and fields for the spring sowing campaign.

Commenting on the report, the Turkmen leader focused on the integrated approach to address the tasks on the socio-economic development of the region. Noting that one of the ways to diversify the agricultural industry today is to grow plants in indoor facilities that contributes to increasing the volume of production, the President of Turkmenistan instructed the Balkan Velayat Hyakim to accelerate construction of new greenhouses.

Speaking about the measures taken in the agro-industrial complex of the velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined the importance to prepare thoroughly for the sowing campaign.

The floor was given to Dashoguz Velayat Hyakim O. Gurbannazarov, who reported on the current situation in the region and on-going agricultural activities. The report on the preparations for the spring sowing campaign was presented during the meeting. The Dashoguz Velayat Hyakim also reported on the work on the cultivation of different types of vegetables.

Commenting on the report, President demanded to push forward reforms in the agricultural sector in the region, to provide cotton growers and other tenants with all the things needed and take all necessary measures to hold the planting campaign in accordance with agro-technical standards. Focusing on the low productiveness of greenhouses, the President instructed to widen their areas and to ensure efficient cooperation of agronomists and farmers.

Lebap Velayat Hyakim Ch. Charlyev reported on the preparations for the spring sowing campaign and the measures taken to increase the crops of various agricultural plants cultivated on protected ground.

The Turkmen leader instructed the Lebap Velayat Hyakim to ensure the high level of the cotton sowing campaign. Dwelling upon the low productiveness of greenhouses, the leader of the Turkmen state instructed the Lebap Velayat Hyakim to take all necessary measures to increase their efficiency and widen their areas.

Mary Velayat Hyakim B. Annagurbanov reported on the current situation in the region and the progress of agricultural activities. The head of regional administration informed on the measures taken to increase the productiveness of greenhouses.

Ashgabat Hyakim M. Abilov reported on the on-going work on beautification and improvement of the architectural look of the capital city.

The Ashgabat Hyakim reported on the preparatory work for the forthcoming holidays and informed on the preparation of saplings and allocation of plots of land to plant them.

Commenting on the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov underlined that the architectural look of Ashgabat should conform to its high status of the main city of the country.

The floor was given to the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers E. Orazgeldiev and B. Atdayev. The Vice Premier in charge for the agro-industrial complex of the country reported on the current situation in the agricultural sphere and the tasks on development of the greenhouse business.

B. Atdayev reported on the work done by the members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan on the construction of new greenhouses in the country.

Commenting on the reports, the President instructed the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers to ensure that saplings comply with the soil and climatic conditions of each region in the country.
