President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers during which the drafts of a number of documents and priority issues of the public life were discussed.
Having announced the agenda of the meeting, President gave the floor to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan R. Meredov. Deputy Prime Minister and head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on the preparations of the forthcoming official visit of the government delegation of our country, headed by the President of Turkmenistan, to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan which is scheduled on March 16-17, 2016.
On the agenda of the forthcoming high-level Turkmen-Pakistan meeting will be discussed a wide range issues of inter-state relations, which give fresh impetus to its development in recent years. Based on the upcoming negotiations it is planned to sign a package of bilateral documents aimed at further strengthening and expansion of Turkmen-Pakistani partnership.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B.Hodzhamammedov reported on the work done in the sectors under his supervision and work progress aimed at improvement of development norms and standards of output of products. In accordance with the draft Regulation, proposed for consideration of President of Turkmenistan, it is considered preparation of relevant documents by Ministry of Economy and Development, Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, as well as Main State Service "Turkmenstandartlary".
Then, the Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, the director of the State Agency on Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources at the President of Turkmenistan Ya. Kakayev reported on the results of work in the various sectors of the fuel and energy complex. It is also reported on implementation, in accordance with President's instructions, of increasing production capacity and export potential of the oil and gas industry.
Deputy Prime Minister also reported on the ongoing work on the construction of the Turkmen section of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI). As noted, on the road of the Turkmen section of the pipeline length of 214 km of works are carried out according to the approved plan.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Atdaev reported on the organizational work of the exhibition and conference of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, which is scheduled on March 15-16.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers M.Yazmuhammedova reported on the preparation of events dedicated to the National Spring Holiday. Traditionally, on March 21, a large-scale celebration in honor of the National Spring Holiday will be organized in the territory of the etrap of Ak Bugday of Akhal region. Placed in the improvised Turkmen village, it will be celebrated in all variety of national traditions and customs of our people.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers E.Orazgeldiev reported on the work progress of seasonal agricultural campaigns and preparations for the spring sowing of cotton along with seeds, equipment and land.
Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Ereshov reported on the status of the work done in the industrial sectors conducted under his supervision, including further development of the sector, conducted by the State Committee for Fisheries.
Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers S. Toilyev reported on work process of the V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games, and to be held in the Olympic Village of the testing competition including international, and educational team practice sessions.
Then, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan S.Satlykov, who is reported on the work done with regard to further improvement of the enterprises, which is under the jurisdiction of the sectors, to introduce advanced technologies in transport and communication complex, and to increase the volume of freight traffic and public conveyance.
Chairperson of the Mejlis A. Nurberdyeva informed the Head of the State on work done by Parliament on the development of new and improvement of existing legislation to ensure a solid foundation for the further implementation of the socio-economic reforms.
Then, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Executive Secretary of the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Sh. Durdylyev, who is reported on a large-scale work on landscaping and gardening of Ashgabat.
