“The main goals of the state policy pursued in Turkmenistan are to bring our country among the states developed in terms of politics, economy and culture, improve social and living conditions in Turkmenistan and strengthen the democratic foundations of the state and society.
One of the largest public organisations in independent neutral Turkmenistan, Magtymguly Youth Organisation unites progressive young Turkmen citizens. In the context of development of the spheres of policy, economy and culture, Turkmenistan has passed the way that equals to centuries due to outstanding successes achieved in the public life. The international authority of the country has also increased. The Youth Organisation has contributed to these achievements.
As before, the main goal of this Organisation is to provide assistance to activities of high and local representative bodies of public authorities, legislative and executive state government bodies in adoption and execution of important legislative acts, creation of a powerful youth movement and strengthening the unity and cohesion in the society.
Nowadays, the Youth Organisation has carried out efficient work on strengthening the national solidarity, bringing the younger generations in compliance with high moral principles, popularizing healthy lifestyle and achieving glorious labour victories as well as contributed to the successful implementation of progressive reforms and state programmes.
Modern circumstances require improvement of the political, economic, cultural and social life of the country, implementation of fundamental reforms in these spheres as well as innovatory approach to any business.
Concern about the future generation is a subject of particular attention of the government. We have pursued the youth policy based on the current national legislative acts adopted earlier and ideals typical for youth”.
