President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov chaired the joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the State Security Council of Turkmenistan. Khyakims (mayors’) of the regions and the city of Ashgabat were invited to attend the meeting.

Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, director of the State Agency on Management and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources at the President of Turkmenistan Ya. Kakayev reported on preparation to the ceremony laying the foundation of the factory on processing natural gas into the synthetic liquid fuel which is being built in Akhal region. The new industrial complex is expected to process 3,7 billion cubic meters of natural gas and produce of 1,1 million ton of diesel fuel, and 400 thousand ton of once-run benzene (the naphtha) per year.
Deputy Prime Minister also reported on the ongoing work on the construction of the Turkmen section of the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline. As noted, on the road of the Turkmen section of the pipeline length of 214 km of works are carried out according to the approved plan.
Then, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers B. Ereshov reported on the ongoing work in the sectors under his supervision, particularly the work progress conducted by the Ministry of Textile Industry on increasing production of import substituting products.
Then, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Executive Secretary of the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Sh. Durdylyev, who reported on the sectors under his supervision, particularly on electroenergetics sector.
The report spotlighted that currently it is going on planned work on increasing capacities of both current and constructed of new modern electro stations, laying high-voltage line and distribution substation aimed at production growth and export potential of our country.

Vice-Premier reported on the upcoming occasions, which are prepared large cultural program with various creative campaigns: concerts with participation of masters of art, various brief artistic scenes, and thematic exhibitions, and contests, meetings with veterans of war, and widows of killed soldiers, sport competitions, which will be held in the capital and in all regions of the country.
In May, as planned to be held International Exhibition and the XVI International Conference of the World Association of Connoisseurs of Turkmen Handmade Carpets, Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Belarus, the Islamic Republic of Iran and Romania.
Traditionally, in the second decade of May, cultural figures, art masters, educators and the staff of mass media of our country make a pilgrimage to the place of eternal rest of the great Turkmen poet and thinker Magtymguly and his father, the poet-philosopher Dovletmammed Azadi. In the third decade of May, within the framework of the declaring of Dashoguz city the cultural capital of the Commonwealth of Independent States in 2016 in administrative center of Dashoguz region with participation of scientists and cultural figures of the CIS states will be held International scientific-practical conference and exhibition of the works of arts and crafts art.

To implement the order given by the Head of the state during the meeting of the Organizational Committee of 2017 Asian Games held on 25 February of this year, it was developed the rout of this unprecedented marathon. Taken a start from the monument of Ancient Nissa the rout will be run through Mary region, and finish in Ashgabat at the stadium of the Olympic Village. In this connection, various options of the organizational matters of the horse race were presented to the Leader of the nation.
