EIW-2016 is urged to popularize the idea that immunization of each child has the major value for preventive maintenance of diseases and life protection. Its motto – “Warn. Protect. Vaccinate”.
As before, this year carrying out of large-scale information-educational actions is planned in Turkmenistan. International partners – State offices of the WHO, UNICEF, UNFPA, as well as representatives of the Ministries of culture, education, communication, the State committee of Turkmenistan on television, broadcasting and cinematography, Turkmen State publishing service, National society of the Red Crescent are invited for participation in them.
During the period of EIW conduction, carrying out of seminars for medical experts of all profiles concerning immunization, health lessons at schools, competitions for the best drawing among pupils, devoted to value of immunization, organization of sanitary-educational conversations among pregnant women, as well as extensive media coverage of the information on EIW-2016 and importance of immunization is planned.
During the European week of immunization, hot lines are opened in each house of health for rendering of advisory services in immunization issues, competitions and quizzes devoted to issues of immunization will take place among medical workers in territorial medical institutions. Also, the conduction of audit of the medical documentation on reception of preventive inoculations of children under 14 years of age and carrying out of inoculations of those who has not received them in due time is planned in health houses. The conference devoted to issues of preventive maintenance of infectious diseases and immunization with participation of students and teachers of high school will take place at the State medical university of Turkmenistan.
