Having noted the exceptional importance attached to the preparation and holding of the forthcoming in autumn of next year, large-scale sporting event at the high organizational level, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed satisfaction with the tremendous work done by the Turkish partners on construction in the Turkmen capital of the largest Olympic Sport Complex, which has no analogues in the region that includes multi-function sports facilities, meeting the requirements and standards of the International Olympic Committee and Olympic Council of Asia. It is planned that in the future, there will be held major competitions, World and Asian Championships and Cups on various sports at the national and international levels.
Speaking about special importance attached to the construction of the Olympic Village, the Turkmen leader gave to the head of “Polimeks” a number of concrete instructions, having obliged very responsibly approach to the fulfillment of works at all its facilities, which will not only bring new features to the architectural look of Ashgabat, but also become a kind of calling card of modern Turkmenistan, turning today into an international sports center.
