The next issue of the quarterly scientific-practical journal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs “Foreign policy and diplomacy of Turkmenistan” has reached its readers.

The most important events of the country's political life in the period from July to September of this year, included in the review materials of the issue, are closely related to the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the sacred independence of the Turkmen state.

The cover of the magazine is decorated with a photo of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov holding his new book “Independence is our happiness” in his hands, the publication of which became an invaluable gift from the leader of the nation to his native people on the eve of the glorious date of modern history.

The widespread support by the Commonwealth of Nations of the initiatives put forward by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, including the announcement of this year as the International Year of Peace and Trust, is evidence of the high authority of independent neutral Turkmenistan in the world arena.

Another confirmation of this is productive nature of the talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, who paid a state visit to our country on August 3-4 this year, as stated in the material of the current issue of the magazine.

During the summit meeting, the parties confirmed that both Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tajikistan firmly favor the creation of strong and positive mechanisms that would ensure peaceful and stable development of Central Asia, avoidance of conflict situations, resolution of all existing issues in the format of political and diplomatic measures, compliance and consideration of mutual interests based on the generally recognized norms of international law and the UN Charter.
