Sincerely congratulating to the Turkmen people on the 71st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1t945, the head of the state noted that this remarkable holiday was contributed to augmentation of human values and strengthening humanitarian relations.
"Victory Day is a celebration, proclaiming the idea of peaceful coexistence, goodwill, humanism, calling up nations to friendly and fraternal relations. Victory Day plays an important role in strengthening social cohesion, upbringing of generations in the spirit of true patriotism and high morals "- states the message of the head of state.
"With great respect, we remember out heroes who have shown a great example of courage, bravery and staunch will in a fierce battle for the sake of free life. We also remember selfless toilers of home front, their heavy duty workloads, bringing nearer the long-awaited victory,"- said the leader of the nation.
"1941-1945 years are imprinted forever in the records of the world history as a time of severe trials and hardships. This savage war, ended lives of millions of people, and caused irreplaceable damage to the political, economic, cultural development of human civilization.
In hard times, the sad memory of which stays in the hearts of people, thousands of our compatriots shoulder to shoulder with other fraternal peoples, with the courage and firmness went through the full burden of the war. In rigorous battles for the sake of peace, calm and free life demonstrated a high example of courage, valor and audacity. During the military hard times, the entire population of Turkmenistan worked selflessly with great faith for the sake of glorious Victory, with boundless love for life and the motherland. The heroic history of those years increases in our souls a sense of great pride and gratitude.
Today, in the Independent Neutral Motherland, everyone enjoys happy life. In accordance with the proclaimed motto "The state for a person!" we pay special attention to strengthening the legal, institutional and economic foundations for social protection of the veterans of war and labor. They have wise edifications and judgments which make the invaluable contribution to strengthening the unity of the native people, upbringing of young patriots of the Turkmen land.
The creative energy and hard work of the Turkmen people, wise advice and guidance of older generation to wholeheartedly love the motherland, to be humane and purposeful lay a reliable foundation of our success, unity and solidarity of our society.
