“From the bottom of my heart I congratulate you on the 71th anniversary of the Great Victory. Today, we have proudly recalled the names of our compatriots, who fought and worked hard in the home front during the Great Patriotic War. I believe that the friendly relations between our peoples that passed the severe hardships of the wartime would strengthen in the name of prosperity of Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan”, said President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.

In his congratulatory address on occasion of the Victory Day, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov said: “Celebrating this remarkable date in the history of our peoples, we bow our heads before the memory of all those, who defended the peace and freedom for the future generations with unexampled heroism, courage and persistence, at the cost of their own lives at the bloody battles, who forged our common Victory working selflessly in the home front.”
