Expressing deep gratitude for the opportunity of a personal meeting, the representative of the largest international organization emphasized with satisfaction the exceptionally fruitful character of the constructive cooperation established between Turkmenistan and the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe, in the framework of which a number of important joint projects have been implemented within the last years.

The sides reaffirmed the willingness to consolidate the efforts in such important area as struggle against illicit drug trafficking, transnational terrorism and cross-border criminality. In this regard, particular attention during the meeting was paid to the situation in the Central Asian region, in particular in Afghanistan, which Turkmenistan has provided significant support and assistance to during all these years.
