President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference work session with participation of the secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence Ya. Berdiyev and the regional governors (khyakims of velayats).
Important issues related to social and economic development of the country, realization of National transformation programme, which started in the regions, fulfillment of seasonal agricultural works, as well as preparation to the forthcoming celebrations and summer seasonal holidays were discussed during the session.
Forestalling the event, the Head of the State congratulated the participants on the national holiday on the occasion of Constitution of Turkmenistan and Magtumguly Fraghi Poetry Day.
At first, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov listened and observed live video report of the secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence Ya. Berdiev on the work of Commission on preparation of the proposals for the matters of citizenship and remission reviewed under the President of Turkmenistan and on the preparation of the Decree “On Amnesty of sentenced persons on the occasion of Constitution of Turkmenistan and Magtumguly Fraghi Poetry Day.”
In honour of the upcoming national holiday, the President of Turkmenistan signed Decree on pardoning 853 inmates. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov ordered khyakims of velayats, etraps and cities to resolve issues related to employment of the pardoned people.
Then the work session on live video continued with report of khyakim of Ahal velayat E. Orazgeldiyev who reported on situation in the region, realization of National programme for transformation of villages as well as agricultural works on arable lands of the region. The Head of Regional Administration informed on the current status at the construction cluster sites of the region, the level of readiness of children’s recreation centres for summer seasonal holiday, and organization of event on the occasion of Constitution of Turkmenistan and Magtumguly Fraghi Poetry Day
Touching upon the subject of the upcoming events timed to 24th anniversary of the adoption of Constitution of Turkmenistan as well as Day of poetry of the great poet and thinker Magtumguly Fraghi, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed to ensure high organizational level of all celebration events.
After that, khyakim of Balkan region D. Durdyyev reported on the situation in the fields of the region, including work on preparation to the forthcoming harvest and necessary agro technical activities.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted the importance of coordinated work of all organizations involved in crops harvest. The Head of the State also focused the attention on necessity to enhance the effectiveness of the measures taken for further development of industrial, social and cultural infrastructures of the region.
Besides, the leaders of Balkan Velayat received concrete instructions on accelerating pace of preparation to school holidays and to the forthcoming summer seasonal holidays in all health resorts, and firstly in the National tourist zone “Avaza” very soon of which would have to accommodate large number of guests and ensure outstanding leisure.
Khyakim of Dashoguz Velayat O. Gurbannazarov reported on the situation in the region and on fulfillment of assignments given earlier by the Leader of the Nation. In particular, information on attendance of cotton sowing and pest control, as well as preparation of the farming machines. Besides, measures for enhancement of work efficiency of the facilities taken in the region and preparation to the summer seasonal school holiday were reported.
The Head of the State requested to provide proper attendance to cotton crops and along with it to develop systematic measures for preparation to the upcoming crops harvest and bring into full readiness of all agricultural equipment. The necessity for proper preparation to the holidays was widely celebrated in our country and to the upcoming children’s summer seasonal holiday was indicated as well.
In his turn, Khyakim of Lebap velayat Ch. Charlyyev reported on the taken measures to upgrade the work efficiency in agricultural sector of the region especially matters on participation in cotton crops and timely implementation of all agricultural and technical activities. The head of the administration of the region informed on the status of activity on the most important facilities built in the region and planned event on the occasion of Constitution of Turkmenistan and Magtumguly Fraghi Poetry Day as well as preparation for the upcoming children’s summer seasonal holiday.
Khyakim of Mary velayat B. Annagurbanov reported on the situation in the assigned region, the course of agricultural works, particularly on the measures undertaken for attendance to cotton crops and preparation for crop harvest time.
The Head of the State was also informed on comprehensive measures taken for the further development of social and living conditions of the velayat population, the current status of construction of new buildings, planned activities on the occasion of Constitution of Turkmenistan and Magtumguly Fraghi Poetry Day, and preparation for summer holidays.
Having highlighted the importance of the measures are now taken in agricultural sector of the velayat, the Leader of the Nation was assured to take necessary steps to enhance of effectiveness of work in all areas with regard to development of this sphere.
The Head of the State also requested to conduct under strict monitoring and timely completion of the facilities which were under construction and request high quality of work within the boundaries of the velayat. Besides, the directions are given to proper preparation for the events related to the forthcoming celebration dates and children’s summer seasonal holidays.
