President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a meeting on further development and beautification of the capital and preparation for celebration on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Independence of the Motherland.
In the morning, the Head of the State arrived to the capital khyakimlik (governor’s office) to hold the meeting with participation of the members of Cabinet of Ministers, and State Security Council, heads of related ministries and branch ministries, administration of Ashgabad city and its etraps (counties), cities and etraps’ services and mass media.
The Leader of the Nation said that today it was expected to analyze the outcomes of the work for the period since the previous session to discuss in details all matters and outlined new outlook. As the Head of the State stated, the great attention was paid to the development of the white marbled capital. The city grows and transforms at a rapid pace, by expanding new territorial boundaries. Recently, new settlements were appeared within Ashgabat area. Celebration of the significant date on the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Independence is coming up. Due to it, President of Turkmenistan gave a floor to the related administrators to report on executed work.
Chairman of the Supreme Control Chamber Ch.Gylydjov first who reported on the course of the status of improvement of the city of Ashgabat, modernization of road infrastructure, and communal-general service conducted in the capital city, and were identified on a number of shortcomings.
Then, the floor was given to the General Prosecutor A. Hallyyev, who reported on the inspection outcomes fulfilled in the capital as well as on the work activities of certain public administrators. The inspection revealed serious violations in their works.
