In Turkmen capital with participation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov it was held the ceremony of laying flowers at the Monument to the Constitution and Monument of Magtymguly Fraghi.
In the morning at the Monument to the Constitution in Ashgabat it was gathered members of the Cabinet of Ministers, leaders of the Mejlis (parliament), khyakims of the city Ashgabat, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments. Among the guests are the representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Turkmenistan, foreign businessmen. Among participants of the festivities there are representatives of public organizations, labour team of the capital city, mass media, respective elders, youth students, culture and art workers.
The presidential car arrives to the solemnly celebrations square in front of the Monument to the Constitution in Ashgabat. Everybody with great excitements cordially greet the Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
The Head of the State goes on the carpet runner on the both sides of which line up the participants of the festivities with flags in their hands. The Leader of Nation goes on the special place in front of the Monument to the Constitution. Then, it plays National Anthems of Turkmenistan
The Head of the State who laid a wreath to the Monument of the Constitution embodied firmness of the state's foundation of the sovereign Turkmenistan, with its democratic principles. A bit later, thousands of Ashgabat citizens and visitors of our city participated in the solemnly campaign held in the Square along the avenue named after the proud person Magtymguly, a monument to the most great Turkmen poet-thinker.
The car of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived to the very center of the capital city in the Magtymguly Square carved entirely from the stone, a sculpture of Magtymguly Fraghi.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was the first who laid a wonderful wreath to the pedestal of the monument in honor of appreciation and recognition on civil courage and poetry gift of the great Turkmen poet.
