President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference work session with participation of Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Minister supervising the agro-industrial complex and the regional governors (khyakims of velayats) where issue of seasonal agricultural works as well as matters of social and economic development of the regions were discussed.
In the beginning of the video conference session, the report of the Khyakim of Ahal velayat E. Orazleldiyev was heard. He reported on the results of works within the framework of realization of National agricultural programme, on measures taken for organized commencement of crop harvesting and on the preparations for important events, which are broadly celebrated in our country.
Khyakim also informed on the fulfilment of the contractual commitments by silkworm breeders of the region.
Speaking of the importance of the works performed currently in agro-industrial complex, President of Turkmenistan pay particular attention to large-scale activities undergoing on the agricultural fields and preparation to the mowing season.
In his turn, Khyakim of Balkan Velayat D. Durdyev reported on the situation in the west region of the country, preparation to the crop harvest and other agro-technical activities.
Having focused the attention on the course of works in the sowing fields of the region and creation of appropriate conditions to conduct timely and quality agricultural campaign- mowing of the crop, President of Turkmenistan gave concrete instructions on this point.
Then at the session, the Khyakim of Dashoguz Velayat O. Gurbannazarov spoke on life video with the report on situation in the region under his supervision, the course of realization of National agricultural programme in agricultural fields, and on the measures undertaken for commencement of the harvest.
It was also reported that hard-working silkworm breeder of northern region managed honourably the contractual obligations for cocoon stocking.
Having made an emphasis on the significance of all measures taken in organized commencement of harvesting campaign, the Head of the State gave a range of instructions on arrangement of coordinated work of relative organization in this direction.
Having mentioned the importance of provision of the high level of activities planned on the occasion of International Day of Children’s Protection and Turkmen Carpet Day, the Leader of the Nation gave the Head of Regional Administration a number of instructions on this point.
Khyakim of Lebap Velayat Ch. Charlyev, reporting on the situation in the region, informed about course of agricultural works including those carried out agro-technical activities with the aim to organized beginning of mowing.
Having informed on measures undertaken to improve social sphere of the velayat, within the framework of National agricultural programme and preparation for festal dates, Khyakim also reported on successful fulfilment of the contractual obligations on cocoon stockings by the silkworm breeders of the region.
Noted the necessity of unabated control of the work deployed in the region, President of Turkmenistan gave range of assignments for improvement of logistic supply of the leaseholders to carry out timely and organized harvesting and to arrange of coordinated activity of all related organizations. Speaking of importance to ensure the issues of social provision of the velayat’s population, the Head of the State highlighted the importance to carry out policy activities in this direction.
Proceeding the session, President of Turkmenistan called Khyakim of Mary velayat B. Annagurbanov on direct video conference, who reported on the works carried out in the region including agro-industrial sector, and prepared to start grain harvesting. Within the framework of his report, Khyakim informed on measures taken to speed construction of facilities in the territory of the region as well as to adequately meet celebrations of upcoming events and conduct programmes aimed at carrying out cultural activities timed to these events. In addition, it was reported that silkworm breeders of the region exceeded the obligations on cocoons delivery to the State.
The Head of the State gave number of orders for provision of organized commencement of the harvest, and proper preparation of machineries and equipment. President of Turkmenistan highlighted the necessity of permanent control for uninterrupted and coordinated work of the whole crops harvest conveyor.
Then, President called Vice-premier R. Bazarov by direct video conference who reported on the status of works on agricultural fields and stock-raising farms of the country.
After hearing the report, the Leader of the Nation instructed to hold under permanent control the matters of development of agricultural sector of the country in accordance with today’s requirements, on enhancement of efficiency of production and processing power of agro-industrial complex, provision of necessary conditions for successful work of dayhan (peasants) leaseholders.
Pending the subject, the Head of the State mentioned that along with all other branches of national economy the agricultural sector is dynamically developed where fundamental reforms take place and bring positive results. As noted by President, very important and responsible period is the time of beginning of crops harvest for farmers of the Country.
In this connection, it was emphasized that in order to organize mowing it would be rational to start harvest as soon as possible in Akhal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary velayat from June 1, and in Dashoguz velayat from June 8.
Having congratulated the silkworm breeders of the Country with fulfilment of contractual obligations for cocoon delivery, the Head of the State emphasized that this remarkable success was the result of their honest, energetic and efficient work.
Noted the significance of the issues discussed during the session, the Leader of the Nation focused the attention on the necessity of joining efforts and coordinated activity of all relevant organizations in resolving the first priority tasks.
