President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held joint session of Cabinet of Ministers and State Security Council of Turkmenistan where actual issues of state life as well as a range of the draft of important documents were discussed.
First, the floor was given to Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers, Director of State Agency for Control and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources under the President of Turkmenistan Ya. Kakaev, who reported on the situation in different sectors of fuel and energy complex as well as on the outcomes of the VII International Gas Congress of Turkmenistan and the branch exhibition timed to it, which took place on May 20 – 21 in National Tourist Zone “Avaza”.
The exposition on achievements and perspectives development of the fuel and energy complex was visually introduced to the foreign guests.
The priority areas of cooperation were discussed during round table discussions and bilateral business meetings within the framework of the forum between the heads of native energy and fuel complex and high-ranking representatives of energy departments of other countries and foreign businessmen.
Having heard the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that effective use of the richest hydrocarbon resources, which Turkmenistan has, is the strategic vector of the state policy directed at consolidation of economic power of the country and improvement of well-being of the people.
Dwelling on priority tasks of native energy and fuel complex, the Head of the State requested to redouble the control for the implementation of the “Programme of Development of Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan until 2030”, giving the number of concrete orders on this matter to Vice-premier.
Then, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov the range of appropriate assignments for further realization of foreign policy of Turkmenistan and promotion of constructive international initiatives of our country aimed at consolidation of universal peace and security and accumulation of mutually beneficial cooperation for sustainable development in the regional and global scales.
After that, addressing to Chairwoman of Mejlis A. Nurberyeva, the Head of the State spotlighted that National Parliament should continue the work on improvement and adjustment of territorial division of the country.
Having mentioned that considerable work was performed in cultural sphere during 5 months of the current year declared as the Year of Honoring the Heritage and Transformation of the Motherland, the Leader of the Nation ordered Deputy Chairwoman of Cabinet of Ministers G. Mammedova to expand the level of activities performed in this direction and to broadly highlight the achievements of native Motherland in new era.

Further on, the Leader of the Nation concentrated the attention of Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers, Executive Secretary of the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and Cabinet of Ministers Sh. Durdylyev on beautification of the major city of the country.
Speaking to Vice-premiers S. Satlykov and B. Hojamammedov, the Leader of the Nation addressed the order to undertake necessary steps to carry out the upcoming work trip to Balkan Velayat at high organizational level.

Atdaev to hold under strict control over all around provision of populations with necessary goods, which compliance to trade rules as well as to assure high standard of services for customers and quality of production.
The Head of the State addressed Vice-premier R. Bazarov the number of concrete instructions for organization of crops harvesting that should be conducted throughout all velayats of the country within optimal time period and without losses.
Speaking to the members of State Security Council, Heads of military and law enforcement authorities, the Leader of the Nation instructed from now on to carry on uncompromising struggle against all kind of law infringements, to stand for protection of the rights and freedom of citizens for the interests of the State promoting the unity and solidarity of the people and prosperity of the country.
Speaking then, Minister of Internal Affairs I. Mulikov reported on preparation to the events on occasion of forthcoming Internal Affairs Agency Workers’ Day. The Minister informed about opening ceremony of new buildings of police department of Turkmenbashi and Police Department of Balkan velayat as well as about sport, fitness and health, cultural and public campaigns, competitions and contest, which would take place within the framework of the event.
Addressing the whole staff of MIA with his warm-hearted congratulations on professional holiday, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted the substantial input of employees of internal affairs bodies of Turkmenistan to realization of the projects and programmes on transformation of our Motherland to one of the developed countries of the world.

Ereshov reporting on the status in the spheres under his supervision, informed about the work on preparation for celebration of Celebration of the Turkmen Carpet Day, including about upcoming traditional International exhibition “Turkmen carpet – paradigm of the beauty of our ever blooming Motherland” and the XVI Conference of World Association of Turkmen Handmade Carpet Connoisseurs which would take place within its framework. As expected, the forum will gather candidates from European and Asian countries who take part in celebration of the events as well.
