President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov attended the opening ceremony of the Children’s Recreation Center built in the city of Serdar.
It is symbolical that the head of the state starts his business trip to Balkan region from this ceremony. The agenda of the business trip includes government sessions with field trips, laying of the foundation stone of the new buildings, etc.

New ultra-modern schools, kindergartens and health centers, equipped with advanced technology, are built not only in the capital and provincial centers, but also in other cities and settlements of the country.
As is known, President pays ultimate attention to the development of physical culture and sports, the introduction of principles of a healthy lifestyle. Young people of Turkmenistan are now attracted and introduced in it. There are growing mass Sports and Olympic movements, bringing up of new generation of young athletes, defending the honor of Turkmenistan in the international sports arenas. Large-scale constructions of stadiums, aquatic complexes are conducted in all regions of the country. In addition to the existing major sports complexes, soon it will be completed the construction of the Olympic Village in Ashgabat. The construction the third phase of this largest sport facility in Central Asia will be completed. It is now performed the test competitions and tournaments, including international ones.
Every year it is increasing the numbers of Children's Recreation Centers, one is located in the picturesque place Geokdere, another one is on the coast of the Caspian Sea in the national tourist zone "Avaza". The similar Centers are being built in the regions of the country. And here it is, today, the next facility, a similar one is commissioning.
In the first half day, the helicopter took off from the capital city and soon the leader of the nation arrived to the location of a new Health Center. The white marbled buildings rose in a few kilometers from the city of Serdar, which was surrounded by nature, near by the mountain gorge. Here, there were members of the government, deputies of the national parliament, heads of ministries and branch ministries, administrations of Balkan region, the honorable elders, and officials of the educational system of Serdar, children and youth.
The festive atmosphere of the Turkmen Toy (celebration) was enriched by the riders on horses. There were decorated camels, high swings, tent, on tapchan the masters of decorative and applied arts with samples of their products and goods, and musicians.
The road ran from the entrance of the building to the complex area. In belvedere, and on playgrounds are the children who joyfully greeted the head of state. The children were holding flags and balloons in their hands.
The new Center spreads in the area of 5000 square meters, and is capable to accept each shift of 300 young citizens of Turkmenistan, is built by the order of khyakimlik (governing office) of Balkan Velayat (region) and local business entity. The construction was built in accordance with the highest modern requirements in organizing children's leisure and related construction standards.

The complex of buildings includes a main two-storied building in the shape of a semicircle, which allocated 58 bedrooms with private shower rooms. The Center is considered places to conduct intellectual games’ sessions and creative development of children. It is equipped with the most modern technology training and computer classes, a movie hall for 66 seats and a conference hall for 270 seats,a game room with modern slot machines for children, a fitness room, a library with reading room and places for medical services.
Excellent conditions are created in the dining room. The dining room is for 300 people and a kitchen area with hot workshop, pantry, washing, refrigerating chambers, etc. The amphitheater for 300 seated is considered for various mass and cultural events and celebrations.
There is a separate place, the natatorium. The pool itself is 12 meters long and 5.5 meters wide. Nearby there are auxiliary facilities with changing rooms, showers, bathrooms. There is also a gymnasium. On the open area of the Center it is built a summer swimming pool with the size of 17.4 meters by 32.2 meters. And, of course, for happy kids are equipped the playgrounds for football, basketball, tennis courts and gazebos for relaxing and resting purposes, and others. The area adjacent to the main building and all facilities surrounding the Center are beautified and landscaped, and are decorated with lawns and flowers, planted trees and fancy breed shrubs.
A three-story hotel is available for those who are coming to visit children, particularly for children’s parents. The complex also includes a parking lot, various technical premises, transformer substation, an autonomous furnace room, various warehouses and reservoirs.

One of the schoolgirls shares that she is interested in learning Japanese language. This language will be introduced into the school curriculum from the next academic year. The girl already has a good success in her study because of language club, organized in Serdar by young teachers, the graduates of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi.
Another girl presented a program to learn English. Game interface and voice engines equipment help their successes. Such equipment helps stimulating kids to study grammar, spelling, pronunciation, and vocabulary enrichment.
There is a same simulator program to study Russian language: one of the boys showed on the computer monitor the plot of the story on "The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish” had written by the Great Russian poet A.S. Pushkin. The electronic tutors help to learn foreign language by hearing, to build sentences and texts based on orthoepic and grammatical rules, to adjust pronunciation according to audio model and its visual display.
Using prospective of this multimedia program, one of the boys displayed the theme on the famous Akhal-Teke horses, the other one developed a message devoted to the V Asian Indoor Games and Martial Arts to be held in Ashgabat in 2017. It is quite natural that the main character of these games is a horse, symbolizing the spirit of the nation, its glorious history; wonderful present and movement strive toward the future. It is this idea that was a basis of the book on "Swift step of race horse", which was written by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
Another girl has prepared text in Japanese about the Turkmen national holidays, with support of the transcription of the phonetic alphabet and automatic translation of oral speech.
Talking with children, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that with ongoing tasks and great transformation oriented toward new technology require young people’s creative thinking, their ability to learn new information technology, foreign languages. President addressed students with words of encouragement in their future painstaking study.
Then, the head of state visited the play ground zone of "Durdane" Center established various recreation equipments, gaming machines for children, including development kinds’ attention, reaction, sports skills and racing games, simulators of air combat, and others.
As noted that "Young tourists" club was established in the Children's Recreation Center, attracting the children based on their interests and hobbies to the historic monuments and the sightseeing’s nature spread throughout our country. Moreover, "Young tourists" club will issue the wall newspaper; the first issue is almost ready.
The Center’s gym is fully set for work out’s and weightlifting exercises’ equipment. It is created conditions conducive for training. No doubt, athletes will be encouraged to achieve much better results, notes athletes’ mentor. Undoubtedly, such a fitness hall will be one of the most visited places in the new recreation center.
