On May 27, during the last day of work trip to Balkan region, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in ceremonies on occasion of laying foundation stones of new social facilities - modern health resort “Avaza” that would be erected in seaside tourist zone and multifunctional hospital in Turkmenbashy as well as in the opening ceremony of administration complex of police department of the seaside city.
In the morning, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived to construction site of new health resort allocated between Oguzkhan Avenue and Dostluk street.
The Chairwoman of Mejlis, Deputies Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers, Khyakim of Balkan velayat, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and branch departments, representatives of non-government organization and media, elders and youth gathered here. Everybody with big enthusiasm cordially greeted the Head of the State. Girls in beautiful national dresses gave flowers to the Leader of the Nation.
Music and dance composition performed by folk bands of Balkan brought bright flavour to the palette of the celebration.
President of Turkmenistan headed to the place of laying of foundation stone of new facility. The representatives of new generation, boy and girl, came up to the Head of the State. They greeted the Leader of the Nation with ringing voices and wished him health and many successes in his versatile activity. As I favour to the children, President of the Country signed memorable message to descendants on occasion of today significant event, which is placed inside special capsule.
The culmination moment came and under applause of participants, the Head of the State placed the capsule with message addressed to the coming generation in the base of foundation of health complex and threw first few shovels of concrete giving symbolical start of construction.
New health resort will be located on the territory of almost 70 thousands of square meters. Meeting the highest international standards, the complex is intended for simultaneous reception of 200 people. 96 double-bed rooms and 8 suits with all comfortable conditions for patients stay are provided in 10-stored white marble building of original architecture.
Specialized branches of the centre, provided with most modern medical equipment from the leading manufacturers are purposed for the provision of wide spectrum of medical and rehabilitation services as well as diagnosis of different diseases including respiratory and locomotive system diseases, the nervous, endocrine, and cardiovascular systems diseases and others.
Physical therapy and therapeutic physical training departments, roentgenography, ultrasonic, electrocardiography, electrotherapy, therapeutic massage and acupuncture rooms, clinical laboratories and many others will be functioning in the sanatorium. Here, the specialists as otolaryngology, dentists, genecology and other specialists are available for professional services.
Along with climate therapy, balneo-therapy, and acupuncture, the special attention in the sanatorium shall be paid to phytotherapy with use of the medicinal herbs growing on Turkmen land. Any patient of health complex would be able to enjoy the healthy drinks and healing cocktails and tea, herbal infusion in fito-bar on the eighth floor.
Besides, gyms, billiard, ping-pong and children playground are purposed for the leisure of patients. Outdoor pool, cafeteria, sport grounds for football, basketball and tennis court will be located on the territory of the complex. The sanatorium is scheduled to be put into operation in June 2018.
Having said warm goodbye to the participants of solemn ceremony of laying of foundation stone of new sanatorium, President of Turkmenistan went toward vehicle to Turkmenbashi. Along his way, the Head of the State examined the range of new projects, which are currently under construction in tourist zone.
The Leader of the Nation made his first stop at multifunctional sport complex that is being built by member of Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, Private enterprise “Myradym” according to the order of Ministry of Industry.
Having familiarized himself with situation on the erected facilities, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the head of enterprise “Myradym” to hold under constant control over the quality and deadlines of construction works. As it was pointed by the Leader of the Nation, special attention should be paid to technical equipment of the complex that would become not only the place for different sport competitions but the educational and training centre for Turkmen athletes, good base for training of the native sportsmen and national teams for World and Asian championships as well as for Olympic Games.
Having proceeded along the highway leading to the city, the head of State stopped at the construction site of multi-sectoral vehicle parking lot. The building of this up-to-date parking lot equipped with newest computer hardware and vision-based inspection system will comprise all necessary conditions for work of personnel and rest of the vehicle drivers arriving to “Avaza”.
Then, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening ceremony of administration buildings and other facilities of Police department of Turkmenbashi.

Mulikov gave report to President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on readiness for the start of grand ceremony. Having received the report, the Leader of the Nation hailed the personnel of police department and other participants of the event and made his way towards the main entrance of the police department building.
Ceremonial moment came and under storm of applause of the participants, the Head of the State cut symbolic ribbon giving his blessing to input into operation of new complex of police department facilities.
New complex with total area of 11 hectares includes administration buildings of Police department of Turkmenbashi and Militarized Department of Fire Safety of Police Department of Balkan velayat. There are offices provided with modern machines and equipment, meeting rooms and conference halls as well as gym, canteen and recreation rooms in the complex.
Observing the complex, President of Turkmenistan familiarized himself with work schedule of the control centre of police department paying special attention to its technical equipment. Having expressed his interest in advantages of set equipment, the Head of the State made inquiries to the employees of MIA about their development of the skills to operate modern technical facilities.
Then, the Head of the State proceeded to the place of laying of foundation stone of another medical facility, multifunctional hospital for 360 patients.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov arrived in the location where foundation of new hospital would be laid.

Thus, the start of construction of new centre will supplement the modern infrastructure of health care facilities and resort system of Turkmenistan.
The structure of the hospital will include departments of internal diseases, surgery, obstetrics and gynaecology, paediatric somatic and surgery, traumatology, urology, cardiology, oncology, acute intoxication and haemodialysis.
Besides, there are available departments of physical therapy, functional diagnostics, ambulance service, blood bank, oxygen station and others. After that, President of Turkmenistan came to ship-repair yard of Khazar Naval Frontier Task Force for participation in launching ceremony of another new ship - military patrol boats arrived for disposal of marine border guards.
The Chief of State Border Guard Service G. Gundogdyev reported to President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on readiness for the launch of new border guard boat.
