The traditional send-off ceremony of children from all parts of Turkmenistan to unique natural health resort Gokdere near Ashgabat took place today at the square in front of the Palace of Children and Youth.
In this season, in Gokdere, where a small town of 14 health centers is located, more than seven thousand schoolchildren will spend their holidays only each summer shift, and on Avaz coast – over 1 thousand 780 children. In addition, over 700 “school grounds” will operate in the country.
For organization at due level of circle work on interests and classes of computer programs and foreign languages, active and cognitive leisure, it was held previously the training-methodical seminars for teachers and educators. Their assistants traditionally become hundreds of students, who will master the teaching profession, for whom such a field study is extremely important in acquiring professional skills.
Specialists of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Health and Medical Industry, Social Organizations, the State Committee for Sports have jointly prepared a rich program of children’s recreation. It is noteworthy the weekly schedule of events on a specific topic. So, Monday is marked as the Day of history and local lore, Tuesday is devoted to creativity and the arts, Wednesday - environmental issues. Thursday will be the Day of favorite books, Friday - Day of Sports and Health. On Saturdays, it is planned Days of open doors for parents, friends and relatives of the vacationers.
Every day spent in the centers will be full of lessons based on kids’ hobbies, competitions, meetings, theatrical performances and literary readings, sports and intellectual contests, and concerts. In addition, it will be organized traveling exhibitions of children’s libraries, performances of the artists of Circus and the State Puppet Show.
The children’s recreation program in Gokdere also included excursions to the capital, visit of the sights - the National Wildlife Museum, Cultural and Entertainment Center “Alem” and Parks of Recreation and Entertainment “Ashgabat”, the Historic-cultural Reserve “Nisa”, and the site Paryzdepe. It was also outlined the trainings on fire safety and traffic rules.
