President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of Cabinet of Ministers where work results for five month of current year were summarized as well as the range of priority matters of state life and drafts of certain documents were considered.
Having announced the agenda of the session, the Leader of the Nation gave floor to Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers B. Hojamammedov, who reported on macroeconomic performances of country development for the abovementioned period. As reported by the Vice-premier, the data for January – May 2016 proves the dynamic growth of national economy. For the current period, the growth rates of GDP was provided on high level including industrial sector where this index was 102.2 percent, construction – 105.5 percent, transport and communication sector – 110.1 percent, trade – 116.3 percent, agriculture – 106.5 percent, service sector – 109.8 percent.
According to analyses of data form ministries and branch departments, high results achieved in all sectors of economy. Average rate of production growth reached 103 percent.
Stable growth of foreign-trade turnover for the considered period is also noted.
By the results of 5 months of 2016, the revenue part of the State budget made up 91.6 percent and expenditure part 87.8 percent. Wages, State allowances, pensions and scholarships were paid out in full volume. Comparing with the same period of 2015, average monthly salary rose by 9.5 percent.
Reporting on the course construction of large industrial, social and cultural facilities in all regions, the Vice-premier informed that growth rates of the volumes of drawn investments from all sources of funding reached 105.7 percent against the same period of the last year.
According to the preliminary data within the framework of realization of new edition of the Programme for village transformation, the construction of 25 water and waste treatment facilities, 99 objects of social sector, more than 790.4 thousand square meters of housing as well as engineering systems and infrastructural facilities is carried out throughout the country. The volume of drawn capital investments made up 948.3 million manats.
In accordance with main directions of industrial developments of the regions, the construction of 197 object were completed and 123 objects are still under construction. Start of exploitation of new production creates additional job opportunities and promotes the provision of commodity abundance.
Deputy Chairman, Director of the State Agency for Control and Use of hydrocarbon esources under the President of Turkmenistan Ya. Kakaev reported on the work results of enterprises of oil and gas complex for the passed 5 months.
The information on technical and economical performances reached in the sphere of oil and gas condensate production as well as in the spheres of hydrocarbon material processing, automobile petroleum, diesel fuel, polypropylene, lubricating oils, liquefied natural gas and other hydrocarbon products was provided.
The Vice-premier also reported on the course of construction of Turkmen part of Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India gas pipeline where all works preformed according to the schedule.
The Draft Resolution for the grant of credit in the amount of more than 45 million US dollars to the State Concern “Turkmengas” for financing of initial stage of construction of TAPI gas pipeline were presented for the approval of the Head of the State.
Summing up the report, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed on the necessity of further work activation for implementation of “Programme of the Development of oil and gas industry of Turkmenistan for the period until 2030”.

The information about realization of large-scale transformation programmes initiated by the Head of the State, first of all for beautification of Ashgabat, where the works on building and reconstruction of automobile roads, improvement of engineering and technical infrastructures, bringing the residential areas in proper shape was presented.
Special attention was accentuated on importance of realization of large-scale urban planning programme and creation of unique appearance of the main city of the country.

Among international events, there are Days of Culture of Kyrgyz Republic in Turkmenistan planned for June 14 – 16. Within the framework of the mission of the cultural capital of the Commonwealth in 2016, International scientific practical and theory conference and exhibition with participation of representatives of CIS countries will take place in Dashoguz.
