President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has made a flight around the capital familiarizing from the helicopter with the situation on the range of large construction sites and the course of work for the further beautification of the city.
During the flight, the Head of the State made special accent on the matters related to the preparation of Ashgabat to the celebration of 25th anniversary of the Independence of the Motherland. The construction of the facilities of social purpose and, first of all, erection and beautification of new capital housing estates were the subject of special attention of the President of Turkmenistan.
The helicopter of the Leader of the Nation made turn over new constructions erected under the next stage of Ashagabat development. The Turkmen entrepreneurs, who increase their participation in implementation of the programme of the development of many branches of national economy with every year and demonstrate strong potential in construction sphere, are actively involved into realization of this large-scale project. New living complex is erected between Bitarap Turkmenistan and Garashsyzlyk Avenues and Oguzhan and 1971 (G. Eziziov) streets. There, the works on construction of high-rise apartment buildings of high comfort with necessary social and living infrastructure as well as modern kindergarten are carried out. The adjoining territory will be completely beautified and planted; children’s and sport playgrounds, places for ceremonial, cultural and public events, automobile parking will be placed there.
Continuing his flight, the Head of the State familiarized with the course of works for realization of the 15th stage of Ashgabat development that undergoes along Seidi and Mollanepes streets. Large housing estate meeting modern standards and high requirements is erecting in this part of the city as well. According to the contracts concluded by the resolution of the President of Turkmenistan and signed in the April of last year the customers of the objects are different ministries and departments of the country as well as the hyakimlik of the capital and the contractors are the local construction companies.
The project stipulates the construction of eighteen 12-store living buildings with mostly 72 and also 48 apartments in each. The considerable part in realization of the project is given to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan that at its own resources would erect 16 3- and 4-store accommodation buildings, 208 double-stored cottages and 11 shops. The plot of the land in the southern part of the capital on the territory adjoining to multifunctional “Ashgabat” stadium was allocated for low-rise buildings construction. Creation of the park zones and tennis courts are stipulated there as well. Such an eager activity of private companies in construction sphere is the result of implementation of the state strategy initiated by the Leader of the State on stimulation and support of native entrepreneurship and wide involvement of its potential in different sectors of the economy.
Additionally, the project of the 15th stage of Ashgabat development include the construction of other facilities of social sphere including kindergarten for 160 kids and secondary comprehensive school for 600 pupils. More than 13.6 kilometres of the roads are planned to be laid there.
Thus, the erection of new living estates becomes the next actual step toward the systematic improvement of social and living infrastructure of the capital. In this context, it is worth mentioning that favourable mortgage credits presented for the citizens of the country condition the availability of comfort dwelling for the residents of cities and country. Owing to this factor and growing scope of housing construction, the thousands of families became the owners of the apartments in splendid living houses of Ashgabat.
The decision of the President of Turkmenistan that along with modernization of present living fund to erect not only high-rise buildings of high comfort and improved planning but also modern houses of cottage type aimed at the achievements of assigned goals. Continuing the flight, the President of Turkmenistan inspected the living estates Keshi and Gurtly as well as Tyaze Zaman, having instructed to work in details the issues of their beautification and planting, noting in this aspect the necessity of creation of new green zones there.
Realization of the project of modernization and development of the road and transportation system of Ashgabat became the subject of special attention of the Head of the State. From the flight height, Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berimuhamedov familiarized with the conditions of the capital roads and related engineering objects including with the course of new bridges constructions. In this relation, the Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized the importance of integrated balanced decision of the tasks for the development of road network of the capital due to intensive growth of the city territory, erection of new living estates and increasing number of transport. In this context, the Head of the State pointed on the necessity to stipulate proper related infrastructure including under- and over-ground passages, road intersections, parkings, etc. during construction of new and reconstruction of existing roads.
After that, the rotary wing aircraft headed to the Southeast of Ashgabat where the President of Turkmenistan familiarized with the course of construction of one more capital living estate – Parahat-7. Currently, the erection of the large complex of high-rise accommodation buildings as well as other related facilities is carried out on this large-scale construction site. Having acquainted with the situation in that part of the city, the Head of the State also looked over the new constructions in the southern part of white-marble Turkmen capital in particular expressed his interest in the progress of golf court construction that will be allocated on the territory of the new park created there.
Summing up the result of the flight, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov set the range of regular tasks on beautification and development of Ashgabat taking into account its high capital status as well as in the context preparation for momentous event – 25th Anniversary of Turkmenistan Independence and forthcoming Asian Games – 2017.
