President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov during the working trip in Dashoguz velayat took part in the ceremony of laying of foundation stone of new housing estate in the administration centre of the northern region as well as held offsite session of the Cabinet of Ministers the main subject of which was the further development of the velayat.
In the morning the President of Turkmenistan arrived at the territory of new housing estate wich shortly will rise in the southern-west part of Dashoguz along Bitaraplyk Avenue.
The Chairwoman of Mejlis, Deputies Chairmen of the Cabinet of ministers, hyakim of Dashoguz velayat, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and branch departments, representatives of non- governmental organizations and mass media, elders and youth gathered there. Everybody greet enthusiastically the Head of the State Having thanked everybody for the warm welcome, the President of Turkmenistan proceeded to construction site to the tent with displayed projects allowing to get visual image of future appearance of this part of the city.
It is projected to build 60 4-store high comfort buildings accommodating 1050 families. Totally, there will be 525 three-room apartments of 171 square meters and 525 four-room apartments with 203.45 square meters area. Children playgrounds and sport fields, pavilions will be located in the adjoined beautified areas. Along with this, the project stipulates shops located on the ground floors of the buildings for the comfort of the residents as well as complex of other social facilities.
The construction will be carried out on the stage basis. Thus, during the first stage of the construction in 2016 – 2018, the erection of six 16-appartment and two 24-appartment buildings, building for sadaqah and technical facilities is planned.
Another 10 buildings including one 12-appartment, one 18-appartment, five 16-appartment and three 24-appartment as well as multilevel parking by 2019 are intended to put into exploitation.
The construction work of the 3rd stage will be carried out during 2018 – 2020. Some 16- and 24-appartment buildings, comprehensive secondary school for 600 pupils and kindergarten for 240 kids where all conditions for upbringing, intellectual and creative development of young Turkmen people as well as health centre will be constructed during this period.
It worth mentioning that the construction of the houses in the district will be funded by bank loans, whereas social facilities will be financed by the funds of National programme of the President of Turkmenistan “On reformation of social and living conditions of the population of villages, settlements, etrap towns and etrap centres until 2020”.
After detailed examination of presented projects, president Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave number of specific remarks and recommendations related to the future new construction. In this context, the Head of the State commissioned participating leaders to provide combined coordinated and derived approach to the construction of new micro district, beautification and landscape gardening of its territory.
The erection of schools and kindergartens, sport and entertainment centres are the main aspect of construction of new housing estate – the Head of the State continued. Along with grocery and hardware shops, other facilities of social and living purposes such as restaurants, cafes, pharmacies, beauty parlours and barberries, cleanings, repair shops, etc. should be provided. This will allow creating all conditions for the comfort of the residents, giving spare time for social and living needs.
We shall continue to pay greatest attention to the subjects of housing construction, provision of comfortable fully equipped apartments, modernization and development of social sphere as a whole, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, once again having highlighted that wide implementation of innovative technologies, advanced achievements of scientific and technical progress and best world practices are the main guideline for large-scale city planning programme started in the country.
The culmination came and under applause of the participants, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov put the capsule with message to the coming generation of Turkmen people in the foundation of new complex and throws first shovels of concrete to the pit giving symbolical start of construction.
