President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening of new village “Bagtiyar zaman” (Happy age) built in etrap named after S. A. Niyazov during the working trip to Dashoguz velayat.
The bright and character feature of age is construction of new exemplary high comfort villages. As it is known, integrated modernization of Turkmen village is indicated in the range of priority directions of the state policy of Turkmenistan, which was initiated and being implemented by the Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
At the same time, the subjects of the development of domestic agro industrial complex, which is one of the key sectors of national economy, are directly corresponded with the social targets aimed at creation of favourable life conditions and work of the country people.
In the morning, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov proceeded to the modern village. According to the Resolution of the Head of the State, signed in April 2012, large complex of social, administrative and other facilities were built there.
New village occupy 144 hectares near Dashoguz. All necessary infrastructure, which is not yielded to the city, were created there. And this is not a surprize because such maximum proximity to the city conditions by the level of comfort is one of the requirements to new Turkmen village.
The Chairwoman of Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies, ministries and departments, the Hyakim of Dashoguz velayat gathered there on the occasion of the momentous event.
There were the leaders of non-government organizations and mass media, representatives of native entrepreneurship and society among the participants.
Everybody greeted the President of Turkmenistan. Girls in national dress gave flowers to the Head of the State.
The President went to the central arch built on the road led to the village. The culmination came and under the storm of applause, the Head of the State cut the symbolical ribbon and opened modern village Bagtiyar Zaman. Big Turkmen “toy” (celebration), the unique and original colour of which is added by the art compositions embodying national traditions of our people were arranged there.
To the sounds of celebration melodies, the president of Turkmenistan together with young villagers went towards housing estate. Along his way, the Leader of the Nation was greeted by art masters and cultural workers, folk bands with songs and dances. “Bakhshis” demonstrated their skills of playing “dutar” and performing “destans”.
The construction of various facilities including 274 single-store 4-room and 226 double-store 6-room fully equipped cottages for 500 families is planned in new village. Along with this, local administration building, school, kindergarten, clinic, cultural centre, telephone station, banquet hall “Toy Mekany” and few shops were built there. New mosque was also erected in the village.
All the facilities were projected, built and equipped accounting modern requirements. Thus, two-store administration building besides the cabinets accommodates big and small conference halls. All rooms are provided with necessary office equipment, computer hardware and communication equipment.
The vivid example of systematic improvement of the native health care system and modernization of its logistics base is Health House built there and provided with top modern specialized equipment.
The Culture house with optimum conditions and opportunities for amateur art, introducing the people to the world of art, popularization of the richest historical and cultural heritage of the nation is at disposal of the village residents.
New shopping mall, allocated at more than two hectares and included 113 shops, market for 226 sale places as well as administration building offers wide range of different food and industrial goods mainly of local production.
Public service house and two-store banquet hall for 500 people are not worse than their city analogues.
The kindergarten and school erected there are designated for the young residents of the village. As it is known, all preschool and comprehensive institutions in Turkmenistan are equipped with advanced technologies, modern multimedia and interactive equipment.
Along with this, communication station with 550 telephone lines is built in new village. All transport and technical communications, including road, waterline, sewage, electrical and gas networks were laid there.
Along his way, the President of Turkmenistan was seeing around new constructions built in the village. Here, the participants were met with real Turkmen wedding ceremony with its tradional customs. The Head of the State warmly congratulated newlyweds and wished them happiness and family prosperity.

There are comfortable double-store cottages with 16 hundred land plots each among these houses. They accommodate a number of light and spacious rooms including halls, living rooms, bedrooms, children playgrounds, equipped kitchens and other support facilities as cloaks, saunas and others. Total area of each of the elite class cottages is around 420 square meters.
Single-store cottage type house with all optimum conditions are of the same comfort. Each of them include 4 spacious rooms (the area of the biggest one is more than 42 square meters) and other necessary premises including fully equipped kitchen. All houses have garages for vehicles.
Today the President of Turkmenistan visited one of the houses built in Bagtiyar Zaman, where double holiday was celebrated - house-warming and new child birthday.
Having warmly congratulated the villagers with new house and happy event of family increase, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that the prosperity of the people is one of the priorities of the state policy of Turkmenistan. The Leader of the Nation warmly congratulated the villagers with new home and presented valuable gifts.
Having bidden good-bye to the hospitable hosts of the house, the Head of the State continued familiarization with Bagtiyar Zaman village and its amenities.
On his way, the President of Turkmenistan visited village shop where wide range of food items for any taste were offered to the clients. Having looked around the shop, the Leader of the Nation asked the sales persons about the variety of productions offered to the customers. Having mentioned that today Turkmenistan including the private sector of national economy has big potential for production of quality food items and different consumer goods, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that the state would continue undertaking real actions for provision of goods abundance in all parts of the country.
After, the President of Turkmenistan called on new modern kindergarten for 240 kids built in the village. All conditions for harmonious development, interesting and useful leisure of the children taking into account age category are provided in the kindergarten.
During his visit to new preschool facility, speaking to its employees, the Head of the State expressed his interest in conditions and equipment of the kindergarten as well as on the interactive technologies used for development of various kids’ abilities, skills and creative habits.
In return, kindergarten employees expressed their sincere gratitude for the all-around care for growing generation.
The Head of the State also talked to the young children and asked them about their daily concerns, what they like to do and on their impression of the new kindergarten.

Further, the President of Turkmenistan went to the parking zone of Bagtiyar Zaman village allocated in the special land plot. Here, along the way, the ornate yurts (traditional tents) were set up; art bands performances giving bright colour to the event were expanded.

All participants of the event including foreign guests joined the Head of the State in this noble work. Shortly, the planted trees will grow and the park will become the favourite place for rest of the residents.
