Settlement, which appeared on the administrative-territorial map of Turkmenistan, got a symbolic name Bagtiyar Zaman that means “happy epoch”. And this is not surprising, because in the village, it was built comfortable houses, created worthy living conditions as well as modern infrastructure, in no way inferior to the city.
And such events are not something exceptional in our country, because in the prosperous epoch of the powerful state, similar villages are built throughout Turkmenistan owing to which a new life comes to the provinces. For this purpose, according to the Program of the President of Turkmenistan on development of regions, it is allocated huge funds in order that the modern Turkmen villages in comfort level could to compete with our rapidly developing cities, in order that rural youth, completing their studies, gladly returned back to their villages and in the village as in the city, formed new productions equipped with advanced technology, etc.
During the celebrations on the occasion of the opening of Bagtiyar zaman village, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov visited some houses. In one of them, happy Uzbek family was celebrating the housewarming. Infinitely overjoyed with appearance on the house threshold of the nation leader, all of its members with great cordiality and respect welcomed the head of state.

On the blessed Turkmen land, it is peacefully coexisted the followers of different religions and people of different nationalities together fought against those who with weapons in their hands tried to grab this land.
In XX century, in the development of national science an important role played the representatives of different nationalities living in Turkmenistan. So academician, Doctor of Medicines, Professor of the State Medical University Boris Smirnov, working as a neurosurgeon and neurologist, became famous for the fact that knowing the Turkmen, the ancient Greek, Hebrew, Latin, English, Italian, Spanish, French, German and Polish languages, he was recognized as the best interpreter of the Indian epic “Mahabharat” from Sanskrit. Owing to this, it was called the son of the three peoples - the Turkmen, Russian and Indian.
And in the epoch of independence of Turkmen state, for special role in the development of modern art and staff training, the representatives of different nationalities, living in our country, receive high awards of Motherland and honorary titles. For example, according to the Decree of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Artist of the State Russian Drama Theater named after Pushkin Natalie Laukert was awarded with the honorary title “Honored Artist of Turkmenistan”, the ensemble “Nazli” of Elena Dormidontova repeatedly became the winner of the contest of the President of Turkmenistan “Turkmenin Altyn asyry” and etc.
Not long ago, a participant of the ensemble of violinists “Mukam”, which art director is the People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Harold Neymark, with great success, represented Turkmenistan at the IV International Children’s Music Festival “Melodic of generations” held in Moscow, in St. George Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace.
Our compatriot, artist Vladimir Pavlotskiy, for his multifaceted talent and tireless work in the field of art was twice winner of the Prize of Artists’ Union of Turkmenistan and was awarded the medal “For the love of Fatherland.” The works of the talented painter are kept in the collections of large museums not only in Turkmenistan but also abroad - in Russia, Norway, Poland, as well as in many national and foreign private collections.
Pupils of the Honored coach of Turkmenistan Alexander Snagovski from the first years of independence of Motherland, taking part in the World, Asian championships and other major international tournaments on kickboxing and Thai boxing, annually return back to Motherland with high awards.

Professor of the Bologna University of the Italian Republic Barbara Cherasetti, leading researcher of the Institute of Anthropology and Ethnology of the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation Nadezhda Dubova, who during several years, effectively worked at excavations of one of the oldest states founded by our ancestors – Margush, were awarded with Medal of Turkmenistan “Garaşsyz, Baky Bitarap Türkmenistan”.
Renowned farmer, Uzbek by nationality Sadulla Rozmetov made an invaluable contribution to the technique of cultivation of high yields, training of generation of highly qualified specialists in agriculture. In the epoch of independence, Sadulla Rozmetov for his great contribution to the development of agriculture of Turkmenistan was awarded with the highest ranks of the Hero of Turkmenistan, “Honorary elder of the people”, orders “Garashsyzlyk”, “Prezidentin Yıldızı”, “Altyn Asyr” of III degree, and other state awards.
