On approving the main lines of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052
Independent neutral Turkmenistan, carrying out grandiose reforms in the new historical epoch, is striving for new peaks of progress. The people of Turkmenistan, inspired by the positive reforms ongoing across their Homeland and sincerely proud of the growing prestige of the country in the world arena, wholeheartedly supported the motto of the year “People’s Epoch with Arkadag”. They work enthusiastically and selflessly for improving the quality of life of society and its bright future.
Based on national consent and strong statehood, the recognized primordial principles of the Turkmen people determine the uniqueness of democratic development and further progress of our country at the present stage of its history. The principles that form the foundations of the state sovereignty of our people are the main factor in socio-economic development of Turkmenistan.
The state prioritize among the urgent objectives the bringing into use of all resources and opportunities for sustainable growth of the national economy, the transition to market relations, in particular, the development of the non-state sector. Work is well under way to carry out international and interregional investment projects and large-scale reforms.
The successes achieved in economy, policy, science, education, healthcare, culture, agriculture and other areas contribute to the progressive improvement of our people’s wellbeing and further strengthen their confidence in the happy future.
Large-scale programs, socio-economic and socio-political reforms, successfully implemented over the 30 years of Turkmenistan’s independence, promoted comprehensive and balanced development of the Homeland.
Following the discussions held with the participation of members of the Halk Maslakhaty and the Mejlis of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, representatives of the people, in order to successfully achieve the goals set in the year “People’s Epoch with Arkadag” to turn the Homeland into one of the advanced states of the world, as well as further raise the levels of social and living welfare of the people, the Halk Maslakhaty of Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan resolves to:
1. Approve the long-term main lines of development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052 and the program work scheduled for the next 30 years.
2. Instruct the state agencies, public associations and mass media of Turkmenistan to publicize and explain among the population the long-term main lines of development of Turkmenistan in 2022-2052, being implemented in the year “People’s Epoch with Arkadag”, historical undertakings for grandiose reforms, large-scale work to promote steady political, socio-economic and cultural development of our country, as well as a campaign for the manifestation of high activity and consciousness of citizens.
