Having guided by the principles of mercy and humanism, aimed at further strengthening the unity and solidarity of the Turkmen society, and on the occasion of the holy month with its Night of Omnipotence, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed a decree on the pardoning of those who sentenced to imprisonment having released from further serving their prison sentences and also from additional punishments in the form of obligation to reside in certain areas.
