President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers where actual subjects of the state life were discussed and drafts of certain documents were reviewed.
For further consolidation of the unity and solidarity of native people in the age of might and happiness, care treatment of centuries-old national traditions and customs, preservation of priceless spiritual heritage, the president of Turkmenistan signed the Decree on celebration of Oraza Bayramy (Eid Al-Fitr) on July 6 and declared this day as non-working.
Turning to the agenda of the session, the Leader of the Nation gave floor for report to Secretatry of the State Security Council Ya. Berdiyev who informed on related current work and preparation of draft document for presidential pardon of sentenced persons in honour of Sacred Almighty Night.
Speaking to the participants of the session, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that following the principles of mercy and humanity of our ancestors, we regularly hold the actions of pardoning towards guilty citizens of our country and foreign states, who repented of their crimes and are ready to start new life. Following this noble tradition, the Head of the State signed Pardon decree for 586 citizens of Turkmenistan and 26 foreign citizens.
Further, Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers B. Hojamammedov reported on activities of departments under his supervision, undertaken measures for addressing the priorities of the state programmes for development of different spheres. The information about fulfilment of the assignments given earlier by the President of Turkmenistan was provided.
Summing up the report, the Head of the State mentioned that strict control of financial condition of ministries and departments must be carried out in order to keep economic stability of the country. Having stressed the attention of the vice-premier on key aspects of development strategy, the Leader of the Nation highlighted the necessity of combined measures for creation of optimal conditions for economic entities, development of entrepreneurship, and mobilization of investments to national economy. Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers, Director of the State Agency for Control and Use of Hydrocarbon Resources Under the President of Turkmenistan Ya. Kakayev reported on the course of construction of Turkmenistan – Afghanistan – Pakistan – India gas pipeline. It was mentioned that all works for laying of 214-kilometre section of pipeline on the territory of our country are carried out according to the schedule. Currently, the surveying and measuring works are fully completed; gas main of more than 27000 meters is constructed.
Further, Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers R. Bazarov reported on seasonal agricultural works including crop harvest in the velayats. It was informed by the vice-premier that collected grain is continued to be delivered continuously to crop reception points, all payments to grain growers for delivered crops are made on time. Collection of straw, ploughing and sowing of intermediate crops are carried out along with mowing. Besides, sowing of autumn type of sugar beet is continued in Balkan and Mary velayats.
Summing up the report, the President of Turkmenistan said that wheat harvest campaign have to be completed strictly within given period, providing complete preservation of crops and requested the vice-premier to pay unremitting attention to organizational questions related to the course of mowing, which results would be the evaluation of work of all involved links of agro industrial complex.
