Public prayers on occasion of the holiday signifying end of Holy month of Ramadan were held from early morning in all mosques of the country. Celebration events in the spirit of centuries-old traditions of the people took places in the cities and regions.

This sacred Muslim holiday, symbolizing purity of thoughts and deeds, high relations between people became the expression of happy life of people of Turkmenistan today, prosperity, successful move forward the way of peace, humanity, creation and progress of our country.


The important role of Ramadan, cleansing and filling with the light of purity our souls, blessed Almighty Night, celebration of Oraza bayramy are the evidence of great importance that the state attaches to improvement of our society on high principles of humanity. The Turkmen people are distinctive by benevolence, peacefulness, heartiness and generosity what is spiritual bridge and vital link between the past and the present.


Sadakas were given all over the country on occasion of Oraza bayramy during day of celebration. Numerous participants of celebration events acknowledged with gratitude that careful attitude to the values bonding the generations, enrichment and popularization of national traditions in the world, augmentation of art potential of the people, all these are the main criteria defining harmonious development of the country in the modern age, especially in the Year of Respect of Heritage and Reformation of the Motherland.
