In order to further improve the living conditions and the social protection of population, the head of the state declared:
1. As of January 1, 2017 year, the new Decree provides 10 per cent increase of salaries of employees from state-financed, self-sustained enterprises and public organizations; pensions and welfare benefits; scholarship allowances for students and trainees.
2. As of January 1, 2017 year to establish:
the minimum size of pensions to the Great Patriotic war veterans in the amount of 1063 manats per month;
the minimum size of pension of spouses of the Great Patriotic War veterans, and home front workers in the amount of 312 manats per month;
the rates for calculation of the minimum pension in the amount of 254 manats;
the rate for calculation of monthly state allowances in the amount of 242 manats.
3. To establish accross Turkmenistan minimum wage in the amount of 650 manats and use it for regulation of monthly salaries.
4. As of 1 January 2017 year to establish the size of the monthly official salaries for heads of public authority and administration, local executive authorities and local government bodies, military and law enforcement agencies, newspapers and magazines offices, social organizations, as well as its basic structural units in accordance with the Decree’s appendixes of 1-7.
5. The increase is to be provided through improving the structure of manufactures, institutions and organizations, raising the effectiveness of producing capacity and working efficiency, and attracting spare domestic reserves.
