Thanking for the warm welcome and hospitality to discuss the prospects of deepening of a constructive dialogue between Turkmenistan and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, on behalf of OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier, the Ambassador conveys the heartfelt greetings, wishing the Turkmen people happiness, peace and prosperity. As noted all-round expansion of long-term, mutually beneficial partnership with the dynamically developing independent neutral Turkmenistan which strongly steps toward the way of progressive reforms and having been a peacekeeping center in the Central Asian region fully meets the interests of the OSCE.

Having expressed the best wishes to the head of the reputable organization, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov stresses the readiness of our country to mutually beneficial and open dialogue in the framework of this largest organization which represents an effective platform for fruitful partnership to all participating countries.

Having congratulated OSCE Representative on the new post in Turkmenistan, the leader of the nation wishes her success in the new accountable post expressing confidence in the successful continuation of long-term cooperation in a wide range of areas, including cooperation in the political, economic, environmental and the human spheres, the development of which is given paramount importance.

Speaking about the existing large potential for further expansion of the partnership, the Ambassador stresses that perspective for its intensification opens largely due to the constructive policy of the Turkmen leader, who pays special attention to all-round building a fruitful dialogue with the European countries, having taken an active part in the international efforts with regard to common prosperity and sustainable development.

Having exchanged opinions in state and prospects of interrelations between Turkmenistan and OSCE, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and his guest highly appreciate the effectiveness of joint projects realized during the last years. As is known, further intensification of cooperation in the context of the overall goals and objectives aimed to maintain peace and security at regional and global levels. Among the priorities areas of the partnership are fuel and energy, trade and economic, transport and communications sectors, ecology and environmental protection, humanitarian sphere.

With the view of the ongoing course of our country to deepen the democratization of state and society, the study of the best international practices in the field of civil law, it is stressed the need for implementation of new projects aimed at the practical implementation of national legislation and law enforcement practices generally accepted international norms and standards. As noted, the importance of consolidation efforts in strengthening security and stability in the region, in particular, the settlement of the situation in neighboring Afghanistan, the fight against drug trafficking, international terrorism and cross-border crime, which is a serious threat for the entire humanity.

As noted, currently it is being successfully implemented 27 projects in various fields jointly with the Government of Turkmenistan.

Thanking for the warm wishes in the work, the new head of the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat has expressed her admiration for the splendor of the sunny Turkmen capital, which is a true white marble pearl of Central Asia. As noted that she is sincerely pleased to the appointment in Turkmenistan - a country known for the achievements on the way to socio-economic development which is a good example not only for the states of the region, but also around the world.

Natalya Drozd assures President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that she will make all efforts for comprehensive of multifaceted cooperation.
