Currently it is going on the registration and meetings of the candidates with voters. On the basis of active legislation in multi-party system and open competition of political parties, social organizations and amongst citizens of the country have been organized sessions and election meetings with the aim to nominate candidates. In accordance with the Electoral Code it is viewed an unlimited number of nominees. Moreover, the proposed candidates are those with good reputation, hardworking, many of whom are experienced organizers, professionals engaged in various sectors of the national economy.

To take a vote on the day of elections, the deputies of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan and members of the Peoples Council and Gengesh have established 359 polling stations.

The forthcoming social and political campaign will be another important step in the deepening of democratic processes, a reliable foundation for the realization of the progressive reforms implemented under the leadership of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and aimed at the further prosperity of our Motherland.
