Unprecedented measures for increase of livestock of ahalteke breeds, popularisation of equestrian sports and national traditions of hirse riding are being undertaken in the country.
It should also be mentioned that owing to support of the Government, Turkmen seyises (grooms) and horse breeders efficiently use presented wide opportunities to carry out fruitful work for preserving whole blood of “heaven” horses, improvement of exterior of legendary horses. The popularity of “sky” racers is becoming higher and the glory is spreading all over the world every day. Our ancestors throughout many centuries, having spared no efforts and put their talent, created art masterpiece having no analogues in beauty and speed of Turkmen horses, improving their best features from generation to generation.

As it was already reported, during extended session of Cabinet of Ministers dedicated to outcomes of the first half of the year, the Head of the State declared the vacation to the all leaders of ministries and branch departments starting from July 25. On another day of his vacation, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with his grandchild visited Ahalteke Equestrian Complex.
It should be noted that modern equestrian sport complexes built in all regions of the country are summoned to promote not only improvement of horse-breeding but development of equestrian sports as well including formation of new constellation of young horse breeders, jockeys and stud farmers.
Owing to selfless work of the president of Turkmenistan, equestrian sport including horse races is very popular in our country nowadays. The visual example of it that more amd more young people associate their life beautiful ahalteke horses.
As is known, Aba Annaev - brother of grandfather of the Head of the State, was one of the famous horse breeder of his time and made big contribution to preservation and improvement of gene pool of Turkmen horses. Infinite love became family tradition.
The grandchildren of the Leader of the Nation became successors of that tradition expressing the desire to learn from the grandfather how to take proper care of horse and master horse riding.
