Every child waits impatiently for summer holidays. This is a period when all dreams of travels, surprizing discoveries and meeting new friends come true. This summer will be remembered by children from Tajikistan Ukraine and Moldova, who came for rest to Avaza with introduction of our country and immersion to bright atmosphere of oriental fairy tale and sincere cordiality.
Specialists of National Centre of Trade Unions applied maximum efforts to make these days spent by foreign pupils in Children Health Centre “Dayanch” the NCTU to be full of informative excursions, familiarization with traditions, customs and national cuisine of Turkmen people, captivating activities, joyful sport competitions and original music and song shows.
Boat trip along artificial river and visit of museum “the World of Ships” will be especially remembered by boys as many of them dream on seas, long trips and new discoveries.
“It took our breath away from what we have seen – yachts and frigates, warships and transatlantic ocean liners - all models made so skilfully that smallest details can be seen” – Maxim Baydyuk from Ukraine and Maxim Pilipenko from Moldova shared their impressions.
Girls were fascintated with “musical fountains”. “When I watched art performance created by rhythmical motions of sparkling streams I realized why “Avaza” is translated as “area of singing waves” – Anastasia Rudek from Zhytomyr said. Cristina Muzyka and Adriana Vylka were admired by skills of Turkmen girls, who weave handmade carpets and make national embroidery.
The kids reviewed with interests scaled back copies of historical monuments of Turkmenistan – Sultan Sanjar Mausoleum, Kutlug – Timur Minaret, Dayahatyn caravansary as well as famous natural monument – Dinosaurs Plateau. Teachers and student undergoing practical training working with children prepared cycle of topics for the guests about our country, its history, original traditions and culture of Turkmen people.
The guest learnt how Turkmen children live and what they do from them. There was plenty of time for communication and many of activities like football, volleyball, tennis and basketball competitions were held together. Every evening the kids demonstrated their talents from the stage of open amphitheatre introducing cultural traditions of their countries.
Ceremny of “farewell bonfire” became most touching and emotionally rich, the kids holding each other hands made large circle – the symbol of mutual understanding and strong and sincere friendship that united them forever.
