Today, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is now on vacation in the national tourist zone "Avaza". After morning exercises he rides a bicycle and boat trips along the coastal zone of the Caspian Sea, during of which he gets acquainted with the process of beautification of the seaside resort.
By tradition, to combine state affairs and leisure, this morning the Turkmen leader arrives in multidisciplinary sports complex "Avaza". Here the head of state is warmly welcomed by Chairman of the Mejlis, Vice Premiers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies, governors of regions.
Having displayed interest in how the vacation process goes, the Turkmen leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov headed bicycle riding, the rout of which lays along the resort seaside. On the way, the head of state observes the facilities constructed on the Caspian Sea Coastal Area - numerous health resorts, cultural-entertainment and sports facilities, as well as parks lay on both sides of Avaza River.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focuses his attention on the creation of the most favorable opportunities to secure the sports component of the resort, to hold sports and entertainment activities, including water sports. Swimming, windsurfing, water skiing, competitions in kayak and canoeing, sailing regattas - all this should be promoted on the Turkmen coast of the Caspian Sea, - said the Turkmen leader, having emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle and mass physical culture by attracting the young people.
It is necessary to provide all conditions for people’s good rest and their interesting and useful leisure, - said President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. In addition, it is important to create the necessary conditions for pedestrians and drivers. In this context, it is reasonable to use the most environmentally friendly mode of transport - bicycles, bike trails etc.
President also pointes out the need for further large-scale work on creation of "Avaza" new forest parks, with the use of the latest achievements and best international practices in the field of landscape and garden design.
Having arriving to the sea berth, the leader of the nation with his colleagues - Chairman of the Majlis and Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan – steps up on the yacht «Galkynyş» and tours the coast, getting acquainted with the process of construction of the national tourist zone "Avaza".
The yacht is gradually cutting through the sea surface, having opened up a wide panorama of growing and upgrading each day "resort pearl" of the country. Today, Avaza is the summer holiday seasonal resort in full swing, and this time of year thousands of tourists rush here from all over the country. The golden sandy beaches, warm sea, the generous sun, healthy air, and of course, excellent level of service and comfort makes "Avaza" center of attraction for many Turkmen residents, and our foreign guests, an ideal place for a family holiday.
