According to Electoral code of Turkmenistan, this procedure is stipulated for the citizens travelling for extended period to business trip or vacation as well as for those who are not able by some reason to attend polling station to vote for most deserving candidate on the day of election – August 21.
There are few competitors per one place in all electoral districts what provides alternativess of elections. Candidates and their principles are given with equal opportunities for agitation work and meeting with the electorate including pre-election sessions, meetings and in mass media.
The right to nbe elected is contended my most deserving and respected citizens of our country. There are leading specialists of different branches of national economy and public figures among them.
Future elected representatives will have to conduct big work for realization of most imprtant governmental programmes aimed at increase of wellbeing of turkmen people, strengthening of economic power of the country and its successive movemetn along the way of creation and progress.
Speaking generally of the course of electoral campaign, it worth mentioning the active work during these days of electoral committees, which includes most deserving representative of enterprises employees, political parties and non-government organizations.
National observers, appointed by political parties, non-government organizations and by nominees themselves, will perform monitoring of the elections. All of them, under their authority, are presented with opportunity to visit electoral districts both before the elections and directly on its day.
