The Head of the State inspected agricultural fields of the region from the helicopter and at the request of Hyakim of Ahal velayat E. Orazgeldiyev, reviewed the course of constructions of large social facilities built under National village transformation programme.
Inspecting agricultural fields of Ahal velayat, the President of the country paid special attention to condition of work undertaken in the region according to the “Programme for Development of Agriculture of Turkmenistan for 2012 – 2016”.
As is known, important agricultural campaign, sowing of winter crops has started on August 17 in all velayats of the country. Today grain growers face responsible task to conduct the sowing in short period of time, on quality level, with adherence to all agricultural standards. Grain growers of Ahal velayat will have to harvest 450 thousand tons of winter crops. High quality seeds of harvest breeds of wheat were procured for this campaign.
After, The Head of the State inspected the fields where cotton harvest would start soon. All necessary technics is under preparation for this agricultural campaign. Branch repair workshops and specialized engineering services work actively in these days. Cotton storage and processing facilities are being also prepared to start receiving raw product.
Successful harvest period depends on, first of all, coordinated cooperation of related departments of agricultural complex, local hyakimliks, farmers’ associations. Provision of unstoppable work of links involved in effortful process of “white gold” harvest is also one of the important requirements.
From the helicopter, The Head of the State reviewed the situation at construction sites of social and cultural facilities, built in Ahal velayat in accordance with new edition of the “National Programme of the President of Turkmenistan for transformation of social and living conditions of population of villages, settlements, city etraps and etrap centres until 2020”.
After, helicopter of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov set course toward foothills valley of Kopetdag in Ahal velayat where, main events on occasion of National spring holiday – International Day of Novruz are held recently.
As is known, this is one of the symbolic holiday that was included in the UNESCO Representative List of non-material cultural heritage of humanity on September 30, 2009 under support of 24 states.
In February 2010, during 64th Session of the UN General Assembly according to proposal of Turkmenistan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan, Iran and Tajikistan, the Resolution declaring March 21 as International Day of Novruz was adopted. Since then, it broadly celebrated as a holiday consolidating peaceful relations between the states and popularizing original traditions of the peoples.
It worth mentioning that events on occasion of spring holiday were held in foothill valley of Ahal in 2013 with participation of the President of Turkmenistan and high ranking guests as Deputy Secretary General of the UN, President of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, President of Islamic Republic of Iran, President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan, President of Republic of Tajikistan, President of Republic of Tatarstan of Russian Federation, leaders of delegations of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
In accordance with decree of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov of February 26, 2016, the place for events for National spring holiday in the year of 25th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan on the territory of Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat was named «Nowruz ýaýlasy».
Helicopter of the Head of the State landed at pad near «Nowruz ýaýlasy». The Leader of the Nation was met by Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers, Executive Secretary of the Office of the President of Turkmenistan and Cabinet of Ministers of the Country Sh. Durdylyev, Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministry, in charge for Ahal velayat, B. Atdayev as well as by Hyakim of Ahal velayat E. Orazgeldiyev.
From there, the president of Turkmenistan went by vehicle to the place of future construction sites of Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat.
During the trip, the Leader of the Nation reviewed the condition of green massifs of environs. In this context it should be mentioned that according to relative Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, ministries, branch departments and hyakimliks of velayats carry out mass planting of leaf-bearing, conifers, fruits trees and vines annually throughout the country.
Tent was set at «Nowruz ýaýlasy» where the President of Turkmenistan introduced to the project of construction of new social and cultural facility - «Аk öý» for 3 thousand places.
«Аk öý» (White yurta), in mythological conceptions, it was a model of the universe, based on circle image – the symbol of the Sun that also became the allegory of eternity of being, intelligent and spiritual urge.
Having inspected in detail the presented project, the Head of the State gave number of concrete remarks and made according adjustments. In particular, the Leader of the Nation pointed the attention on construction of the facility taking into consideration its functional purpose.
The President of Turkmenistan made special accent on the fact that «Ak öý» project has to consider harmonic combination of buildings with local nature environment of this unique place of Turkmen land. Following rules of theory of landscape design, it is necessary to think over thoroughly all the matters related to beautification of adjoin territory.
The Head of the State highlighted that all conditions for conduct of large-scale cultural public events of national and international level have to be stipulated during construction of new object. The culture is one of the fruitful directions of establishment and development of the contacts in global communication and today, keen interest of world society to Turkmen culture, its sources and traditions is obvious, the Leader of the Nation continued, having mentioned the necessity of combined measures for protection and augmentation of spiritual heritage of the ancestors.
The president of Turkmenistan also pointed attention of Vice-premier Sh. Durdyliyev on importance of construction of «Ak öý» based on technology of modular and stationary buildings. Speaking of advantages of such constructions, the Leader of the Nation highlighted that construction have to meet all standards of seismic safety.
Further, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made the accent on the subject related to technical provision of new facility, having emphasized that all conditions for conduct of not only cultural actions but for official events and business meetings have to be created there.
The Leader of the Nation highlighted that facilities like «Ak öý» have to be built in all velayats of the country, having mentioned that white yurta is a symbol of primordial, original historical and cultural heritage, a sign of preservation of own roots and sources. In this relation, the Head of the State addressed number of specific instructions to Vice-premier Sh. Durdyliyev. Having generally approved the presented project, the President of Turkmenistan requested to finalize it considering the remarks and to prepare related documents.
Having pointed the attention on forthcoming cotton harvest campaign and sowing of winter crops, which have to be completed as per the deadline, the Head of the State requested to take care in advance of preparation of agricultural equipment, unstoppable operation of all links of harvest conveyor as well as to undertake actual measures for protection of the cotton harvest.
