Having stated with delight high level of interstate dialog that successfully develops both in bilateral and multilateral formats under competent international organizations, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted strategic character of Turkmen – Chinese partnership, which not only meets the interests of both sides but also is also positive factor of consolidation of peace and stability in regional and global scale.
Interested share of opinions on perspectives of mutually beneficial cooperation between two countries, which steadfast dynamic in all spectrum of direction is inherent to, including in trade and economic sphere, was made during the conversation. It was mentioned that Turkmen – Chinese relations, which history goes deep into millenniums, into time of the Great Silk Road, are filled with new contents every year, what is directly favoured by regular top level meetings and important agreements achieved as their results, which are aimed at concrete practical outcome.
Fuel and energy complex is one of the priority directions of interstate partnership. Transnational gas main Turkmenistan – China, providing long-term supply of Turkmen “blue fuel” to the PRC, is visual symbol of the efficient cooperation. Wide opportunities for successful joint efforts are opened in transport section taking into account the initiatives proposed by our country for establishment of combined international transit and transport infrastructure. Considerable role in intensification of traditional relations is given to Intergovernmental Turkmen – Chinese Committee for cooperation and to its subcommittees, which activity is summoned to stimulate productive contacts in different spheres including hi-tech innovative branches.
It was also mentioned that Turkmen – Chinese cooperation in humanitarian sphere like science and education, training of qualified specialists, culture and art are being expanded every year. This fruitful dialog serves to consolidation of friendship and mutual understanding ties between peoples of Turkmenistan and China as well as to study and popularization of their richest historical and cultural heritage.
