President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is currently on the working visit to the Federal Republic of Germany, received Stefan Hoechbauer, the President of “SAP” company for central and Eastern Europe.
Having expressed the gratitude for spared time, the head of the largest European company noted all-around interest of German business circles including “SAP” in establishment of long-term business cooperation with rapidly developing Turkmenistan.
Having greeted the guest, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that independent neutral Turkmenistan, having steadily following open door policy, is interested in attraction of the best world practices and innovative technologies, which wide implementation is integral part of all-embracing reforms undertaken in the country.
During the meeting, Stefan Hoechbauer presented range of proposals indicating the wish of “SAP” to assist the promotion of large-scale economic projects initiated by the Turkmen Leader for rapid industrialization of Turkmenistan. Today, “SAP” intercorporative program software » – «Systems Analysis and Program Development» based in Germany in 1972, is used by tens of thousands companies, from largest corporation to small and medium business enterprises located all around the world.
In this relation, it worth mentioning that “Turkmenistan – Germany: the Day of Innovative Technologies” event took place in the end of May of this year with participation of 30 largest German companies. During the forum, “SAP” presented innovative solutions for efficient management of port infrastructure based on the sample of Hamburg Sea Port program software. Specific proposals for provision of the latest electronic systems of Turkmenbashy International Sea Port was uttered as well as company’s experience in development and implementation of high information technologies including in the sphere of document turnover, management of production operations, research projects and others were presented.
During the course of the current meeting, the perspectives of mutually beneficial cooperation accounting the priorities of the state development of Turkmenistan and the company’s potential, which is recognized leader among the developers and suppliers of the software solutions for business management, were discussed.
Taking opportunity, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov invited Stefan Hoechbauer to participate in Global Conference for sustainable transport system, which would take place in Ashgabat together with the United Nations Organizations.
At the end of the meeting, German businessman addressed the leader of the Nation and all Turkmen people with sincere wishes of happiness, prosperity and great successes at the way of grandiose reformations.
