Having warmly greeted each other, the leaders of two countries expressed the satisfaction of opportunity to discuss in private conversation the priority subjects of bilateral relations, which are based on unbreakable friendship ties and historical cultural and spiritual community, united peoples of Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Having emphasized high level and constructive character of interstate dialog, Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Almazbek Atambayev mentioned that recently, Turkmen – Kyrgyz partnership, resting upon good will of both sides, gained ne quality and content.
During the conversation, the Head of Turkmenistan confirmed his intention to make working visit to Kyrgyzstan, which was planned for beginning of September but was postponed due to participation of the Turkmen Leader in mourning ceremony in Samarkand. Time of the visit will be coordinated by diplomatic channels. In this context, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed the confidence that forthcoming meeting with Kyrgyz colleague and planned ceremony of laying of foundation stone of health complex at the Issyk-Kul Lake by Turkmen entrepreneurs, would serve further development of traditional cooperation, which is built on the principles of sustainability and respect of mutual interests.
It was highlighted that existing potential forms good basis for expansion of fruitful relations for both in trade and economic as well as humanitarian and cultural spheres, definition of actual directions of mutually beneficial partnership with account of modern realities.
Taking opportunity, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov wished President Almazbek Atambayev successes in conduct of international sport and cultural forum, International Nomads Games, which started in Kyrgyzstan on last Saturday.
