The celebrations in honor of the first anniversary of the weekly newspaper «Nebit-Gaz» is held in the building of oil and gas complex in Ashgabat («Oil-Gas") established in accordance with the decree of President of Turkmenistan. Its first issue was published in September 2011.
The departmental printing matter of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan was intended to broadly and comprehensively cover the various aspects of the energy policy of Turkmenistan, the priorities directions of the development, successes and achievements of the fuel and energy complex of the country, to become a kind of an information platform for professional communication and exchange of experts of oil and gas industry, to acquaint readers with the latest news of the industrial science and international cooperation in the energy sector. Today, the newspaper tells not only about news and projects of oil and gas, but also about the most important events in the country and the world. The editorial staff strives to prepare the newspaper to be interesting and popular edition, where everyone will find valuable information. Managers and employees of departmental State Concerns and corporations, mass media representatives of the country, as well as the most active readers of the newspaper «Nebit-Gaz», the winners of competitions which had organized by publication were invited to the festivity.
The thematic cycle of publications devoted to the 25th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan, introduced large-scale panorama of the country's achievements in economy, culture, social life and social policy of the state.
