There are the ambassadors of Turkmenistan in foreign countries, the heads of diplomatic representative offices and missions accredited in our country, representatives of non-governmental organizations, mass media, domestic and foreign businessmen, the elders and youth among the participants of the ceremony. Everybody greeted the Leader of the Nation with enthusiasm and cordially. Girls in bright national dresses presented flowers to the President of Turkmenistan.
The head of the State approached the checkpoint of the automobile parking built by order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Technical equipment of the checkpoint, provided with automated entry terminal and special display giving full information on number of free and occupied parking spots and other necessary data, became the subject of the interest of the Leader of the Nation.
The solemn moment came and under storm of applause of the participants, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov cut symbolic ribbon and opened new car parking for three thousands vehicles.
After, the Head of the State studied the arrangement of the car parking, its plan and technical provision, conditions for comfort of drivers and work of service personnel as well as such factors, which are compulsory during choose of location and construction of these kind of facilities, as esthetical and ecological aspects.
Totally, 12 parking sections with shades are built there; there are also car wash and grocery store. The complex also includes administration building, traffic police point, three checkpoints, bicycle storage and number of engineering and technical facilities. The car park, occupying 12.65 hectares, is provided with all necessary modern equipment and life support systems. Adjoined territory of the facility is beautified and landscaped.
Entry of this complex into exploitation gives opportunity to provide comfortable parking places to vehicles arriving to Turkmenbashy and national tourist zone “Avaza”.
On his way, the Head of the State inspected car wash and repair workshops, having stressed the attention on their provision, work features and list of services as well as on quality of special means used for vehicle care and maintenance.
Retro automobiles “Chayka” of different modifications displayed throughout the territory of the car parking brought interested attention of the President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
At the same time, real Turkmen wedding enveloped there, what added bright colour and special symbolism to the event. Having warmly greeted the just married, the Head of the State cordially congratulated them on important events – wedding and the beginning of family life.

Windows of the first floor of the building are made in the shape of ship portholes and the anchor is decoration element in the “bow” of the building.
