Kurban Bayaramy, formed during many centuries, absorbed high moral values and original cultural traditions passed down from generation to generation. This blessed holiday, embodying national unity and prosperity, is observed on the state level as special date in accordance with our remarkable customs and rites. Generous sachak (table cloth) are being laid, sadaqats (food donation) are being given and all the best is being wished in every family during holly Kurban Bayramy.
Bright substantial events, glorifying beautiful, peaceful, happy life of the people and favouring the formation of such merits as mutual respect, goodness, nobility and sincerity, are being held at squares with high swings, in parks of the capital of our country Ashgabat and all cities and villages.
According to noble customs of the ancestors, all conditions for proper fulfilment of sacred obligations and commandments like pilgrimage to the holy places of the Islamic world, namaz (prayer), fasting during Ramadan are established in our country.
