Ashgabat hosts the next, the fifteenth session of Mejlis of the fifth convocation. The agenda states a number of bills and legislative documents developed to the framework of the initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov law and legal reform.
As noted during the meeting, the improvement of legal and regulatory framework is a key factor in the further successful development of our state and society, strengthening of its democratic and legal basis. In accordance with the objectives which is put forward by the leader of the nation in front of the deputies. Special attention is paid to this important aspect, as the development of bills with the main provisions of the Constitution, and the norms of international law.
In the framework of the current session, the first one submitted to the parliament was a draft resolution of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan "On the recognition of authorities of Mejlis deputies, having elected by separate electoral districts."
As is known, the Mejlis deputies’ election, as well as members of Halkmaslahaty and Gengeshes and instead of those who left held on 21 August of this year. They went on an alternative and democratic manner, in an atmosphere of openness and transparency, in accordance with the applicable legislation in the country and the generally accepted norms of international law. This is an important socio-political event which was the next important step in the implementation of progressive policies of the head of the state and consolidation of the democratic foundations of the life of the Turkmen society. The right to represent their constituents in the national Parliament to replace those to leave of Mejlis deputies has received seven people.
At the Mejlis meeting it was reviewed the bill "On introducing amendments and addenda to the Law of Turkmenistan", “ On the court," as well as the amendments and additions to the Tax Code of Turkmenistan, the Law of Turkmenistan" On Hydrocarbon Resources "," On migration "and" On the migration service."
Then the deputies considered and approved the draft resolution of Mejlis "On the establishment of the Day of judicial bodies of Turkmenistan ", "On establishment the Day of law-enforcement agency," On the establishment of the Day of General Prosecutor's office of Turkmenistan "," On establishment of Day of Turkmenistan Migration Service workers"," On renaming of the State of National Service "Turkmenhowayollary" named after Saparmurat Turkmenbashi, the Great."
The draft resolutions of Mejlis "On accession to the Intergovernmental Agreement, the Asian Highway Network" and "On accession to the Intergovernmental Agreement the Trans-Asian Railway Network" were approved.
