Characterizing main stages of development of the country for the years of the independence during the speech at the Council of the Elders, the President of Turkmenistan said that new industrial potential was created for the reviewed period in the country and domestic industry was formed up. Internal market began to be provided by productions of local plants and fabrics.
Lease agreements were implemented in agricultural sector. Facilities and equipment base of farmers’ associations was improved. The abundance of trade market with consumer goods was achieved by results of undertaken work.
The Head of the State also mentioned considerable achievements in transport, communication broadcasting and information spheres. The year of 2015 would forever enters glorious history of the sovereign Motherland as a year when first national satellite was launched into space.
Speaking of importance of establishment of transport corridors “North - South” and “East – West” in provision of peace, consolidation of mutual understanding and friendship not only in regional but in international scale, initiated by our neutral country, the Turkmen Leader expressed the confidence that the UN Global Conference of Sustainable Transport System that is going to be held in Ashgabat in the end of this year, would promote these subjects.
Currently, the state programs for production of import substitutive goods, increase of export of domestic productions, industrial development of Turkmenistan and establishment of electronic industry are successfully implemented.
Medium and small business, private entrepreneurship are being steady developed. Nowadays, the share of non-governmental sector of economy in the structure of the gross domestic product without fuel and energy complex is 68 percent. Total number of enterprises of non-governmental sector of economy of our country is 25 thousand.
