It is important that every building in white marble capital of Turkmenistan, Ashgabat was distinguished by unique unrepeatable architecture. In this relation, we pay great attention to intensive construction of the Olympic village as very soon, less than one year, sport competitions of V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games will be held there. Contests in 21 sports will be held in sport halls of this complex meeting international standards. The press-centre for broadcasting of the Games throughout the world is established in the Olympic village, rooms for representatives of mass media are stipulated in each building. I hope that during V Asian Games, you will appreciate and use all presented opportunities for live broadcasting of sport news.
For the first time, athletes from 62 states of Asia and Oceania will participate in V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. We suggested including such sports competitions as national wrestling gyoresh and showjumping into programme of the Games. The Asian Olympic Committee supported our suggestion. We are confident that numerous mass media representatives from different places of the planet will come to our capital for coverage the Games.
