Large-scale programmes for establishment of modern national tourism infrastructure, legal, economic and social basis of tourist activity on the territory of neutral independent Turkmenistan are being successfully implemented. Adoption of legal and regulatory acts, regulating issues of tourism, construction and putting into exploitation of beautiful hotel complexes and comfortable recreational and entertainment centres are the evidence that our country occupies deserving position on the world tourism market.
It became a good tradition to held International tourism exhibition and forum in our country. This forum promotes activation of mutually beneficial relations of Turkmenistan with foreign countries, exchange of practices between scientists and specialists in development of the world tourism industry, new achievements in health and recreational and entertainment spheres. Establishment of modern tourism infrastructure in our independent Motherland is one of main directions in development of international cooperation, attraction of innovative technologies to the country and complex modernization of national economy.
We pay greatest attention to expansion of international relations in tourism sphere including further activation of partnership with the World tourism Organisation, successful realization of intergovernmental agreements reached in this sphere.
We are pleased that exhibitions, fairs, conferences, seminars and other events of international scale organized in Turkmenistan promotes the expansion of the scale and spectrum of presented tourism services, improvement of their quality, training of highly qualified specialists as well as to introducing our country to the world community.
